We all have enemies. We all have something to hide. Something you don't find like let say you like clown porn (don't ask) you don't give a toss who knows, but what if your boss despises that, and he finds out you like clown porn. He decides to fire you because of that. Not so fun now.

To do so would stifle free expression far more than any good it may produce, and is absolutely a horrible idea.

it is impossible to implement this. I mean you can pass the law for that, screw constitution and such but, people have 2 (or maybe more as I am not a tech expert) options 1; host the forums in another country which doesnt have the law, 2; VPN.

Now if you really want to enforce that, you gotta do it worldwide. Every country has to pass the law. Every VPN service has to be shot down. Every Program which can bypass regulations of normal web has to be shutdown. It is simply not practical in reality.

I can only see goverment agencies being happy with it. People however will be on the streets en mass protesting violently. Really no zombie apocalypse no nuclear shitstorm but this would cause a global unrest in every developed and developing country.

Everybody has to have an passport and/or unique numbers with photo verification etc. Ahh too many things to consider that it is impractical. Laws, constitutions can be changed, that is not problem (ignoring the unrest, protest etc) but applying it worldwide is simply overwhelmingly impractical.

However it is just my regular human brain that came up with these thoughts. Please enlighten me if I am wrong. So far reading this topic I couldn't see much of an expert explanation of application of this (apart from constitution, law discussions - which I don't need as I believe any law can be changed when really necessary)

The ability to be anonymous on the internet is one of modern societies greatest boons as it utterly levels the playing field and, in theory, forces all ideas to be heard equally. I understand it brings negatives in the form of people being dicks to each other but so what?

You know what should be a law? A fine for posting click bait titles proporting something that is GOING to happen when it really is the opinion of someone who has not moved out of their parents basement.
