How about we figure out what it is about the human psyche that causes people to commit sex crimes and try to treat that symptom rather than revenge punishment that doesn't do anything to help the victims or perpetrators? b) A public execution.

In essence, by giving out a life sentence, you're emphatically stating that this individual is unfit for society, so why should the taxpayer support him or her for forty to fifty years? In the end, a death sentence is more humane, it's cheaper, and it serves as a deterrence for crime that's coupled with psychological conditioning. Also, what's with the nonsensical hypothetical? Nope their status would be sent to all medical offices and health clinics in their country and Dr.s found violating it would face upto 10 years in prison. Takes time and rescources but its still cheaper than supporting them and taking care of them in prison and the victims they end up raping or hurting.
