Well, to be fair, by the classical definition a hero is just someone who does great things. It's got no moral component. Gul'dan absolutely qualifies.

The portal is closed and alternate Dreanor have their own problems fixing their world to be worried about us. I'm just glad that Gul'dan is the only alternate character to cross over.

If the portal is closed, how did we come back? There was no grand event where we cut all of our connection to Draenor, we simply switched focus. Not to mention Ashran is still heavily used due to Auction House.

Obviously Blizzard only wanted Gul'dan out of this entire deal, so 'mechanically' it's all fine - but lorewise, it's a mess.

Edit: It does remind me. Class and profession quests keep sending us all over the world, revisiting old areas for various reasons. Do any of those include Draenor or was it entirely ignored?
