took me over month to get one in BETA i`m prety sure that will not have any soon in retail too

3 days and 20 hours played, ilvl 844 and have cleared mythics twice as well as the sarumar mythics once. Do the emnissary quest every day as well. Still no legendary... nobody in my guild has gotten one yet either.

I am pretty sure there is no "bad luck protection" for people who are simply unlucky. There is a guy in our guild that got 2 legendaries so far, and noone else got it other than him.

I can already see it coming that in the upcoming weeks, especially after the raids and mythic+ start, people will start complaining a lot about the rng nature of the legendary drops because some of them are just simply too good, especially for dps players. Especially dps players who are lucky enough to get one of the best legendaries will pull ahead massively because of that, and the vast majority who couldn't get that will definitely complain.

There should be a confirmed bad luck protection for this issue to be resolved, otherwise this will be the first big thing that will start the sh*t talks about this expansion.

"Oh remember Legion? It was horrible that legendary drops were completely rng and you were simply so much behind if you were unlucky enough to not get one, but thank god in the next expansion...".

got 2 legendaries in my first mythic dungeon week with about 2 hours in between the drops.
on the other hand never saw the shaman transmog set drop for me in soo in all the time :-/

4 Days 18 hours at 110, 8 Mythics, tonnes of heroics more than 10 WQ caches with over 300 WQs done... Not a peep at a legendary... At this moment in time it seems like it is going to be a complete waste of resources to pay for research of the 2nd legendary slot....

cleared every mthic id possible, spammed heroics, did every daily

I am only 844 with zero 850 item drops. Most people in my group have at least 5 850+ items, some 8+, even those whocleared just half the possible mythic ids.

Have a twink at 110 for about a week and did heroics, mythics and emissary chests, nothing.

none in our small guild has seen a legendary, Have about 2 mythic dungeon groups.
