Probably because they want the focus to be on Metzen, so making him stand besides a huge orc would take away from that.

The baby winston does a good job at adding a blizzard character without being the major focus point.

I don't want to derail the thread, but 15 mil sold copies is not even remotely comparable to wow sold copies(56.5 m not including Legion), and that is not taking sub fees into account.
