well, once i had 837 ilvl frost mage with 70k dps with heroism and bursts, i think that was my worst teammate for legion
I'm relatively certain these types of posts are just made up bull. So far as I recall I've never been kicked from a dungeon ever since it came out in WOTLK and if I did it was probably because I was in a bad mood and was being an ass. I've also rarely seen people get kicked just for being bad. If we are wiping constantly due to poor DPS or the tank is getting one shot then a kick is in order. But even if the mage is at 50% of the tanks damage, so long as things are dying nobody even gives a shit. And with random heroics being a walk in the park ever since late Cata, I've rarely seen a moment where one person was holding us back and preventing us from completing the instance.
That's not to say there aren't terrible people out there and that people don't get kicked for stupid reasons. But people definitely act like it happens all the time when you usually have to fuck up really bad or be a complete douchebag to get kicked.

I am an ilvl 831 ret pally, and I was kicked on a mythic dungeon cause I was "Doing the top dps". I asked why he kicked me, and got replied with "You stole my top DPS record", and after that..I was ignored by em.
So...there's that. Now, I can't even enter a mythic dungeon, cause half of them are looking for 840+ people, like.....WHAT!
I think they should add some filters to random que

No, I didn't say that and you would know that if you read what I said. Chests and mini bosses for World Quests are a very common thing in Legion dungeons, it becomes a problem when a tank unilaterally decides those things will be skipped strictly because he says so. Because he feels that because he's the tank, he somehow has the right to dictate things to the other 4 people in the group.
Your post makes it very clear you are exactly the kind of player I was referring to, and are exactly the kind of player this game doesn't need. I, along with the people I play with, will continue to kick players like you out of dungeons. Being the tank grants you no special authority of any kind. You are no more important, special or talented than anyone else in the instance. If you can't be bothered to take an extra 90 seconds to kill a mob other people need for a quest, stay the hell out of the dungeon queue. More often than not, if there is a world quest to kill a certain mob in an instance, the majority of people in queue will be in queue to kill that mob.
I've been kicked once in all these years, and it was for not being able to execute some ridiculous invisible pixel wall climb in the Everbloom that the tank wanted to do to skip a couple of mobs.
After that, I always made sure I had a Swapblaster on me, in case I found myself in the same situation again.
Got kicked once this expansion so far.
Group leader Healer died every pack, standing on "#¤% on the ground.
Blame the tank.

It is still very early into the expansion.
You will see tanks push the limit just to learn, at the cost of your patience atleast. Trial and error. To find the path of least resistance.
I have whiped tons of groups already, pulling extremely large packs, calculating the outcome whatever it is optimal or not and to observe which mobs are the Demonic Spiders which is normally hard to notice during a small pull as everything is so undertuned.
