no, because if you have TB, you use all your cooldowns with TB active, for a massive reduction of your next Adrenaline Rush / MfD

All the answer i could give you, you did write yourself. There is no moral high ground you deny me which you don't leave by posting your "lessons".
And i do know that my posts are furthering the discussion, but opposite to the people i criticize, i do know that i am not. I'm also not hung up about some sophisticated question, but a basic understanding of simulations, propabilities and the need to research before asking. I want to discuss, but not the fact that the sun rises every morning, that aplles fall towards the earth and that simcraft gives us averaged results compounded from thousands of iterations.

The same way that Fishing for 3+ / 2+ TB / 2+ SIW is a DPS gain.
Basically, it increases a lot the variance but the overall gain show a dps increase.
But in game, this situation make most of the time things harder.

Adding SIW reduce the variance while almost not loosing DPS (on SimC), resulting in better DPS ingame.

So you are saying that over a bunch of runs, the variance is less of an issue and you get higher overall dps since it evens out. But practically, the odds of ending up much lower then average while pursuing this optimal RtB on one fight is so high that you shouldn't do it?

People come here for answers. Some of the questions are more basic in nature than others, because not everyone has the time for the deep dive (some of us are actual adults with jobs and families). I genuinely appreciate the time that people like Elfporn and Stjern give to these forums to answer questions from people like myself, questions that they no doubt find remedial, without insuting me.

I do not exactly know why you are trying to insinuate that i am your "son", or some kind of basement dwelling child. But it does not actually make your weak posts any more believable.

Outlaw is very special due to RtB, dps gain on SimC doesn't means dps gain in-game.

There is a well known hunter theory crafter (who was acutally banned briefly from these forums) who has stated "in game experience means absolutely nothing", that's a quote. If in-game experience means nothing, why do we play?

This is not meant to dis theory crafting. Believe me, I very much appreciate the work of people like Aethys, Fierydemise, Stjern, and others. They make my life easier. I don't have the time to reinvent the wheel every patch, and their work makes that unnecessary.

New Fishing Rule :

You should cast again Roll the Bones if you have 1 or less Buffs and this buff isn't Shark Infested Waters while your CDs (AR/CotD) are ongoing and this buff isn't True Bearing.

So, if you have 2 or more buffs, keep it.
If you have only 1 buff, check :
- If it's Shark Infested Waters or True Bearing, if it's True Bearing, keep it
- If it's Shark Infested Waters and you have either Adrenaline Rush either Curse of the Dreadblades up, keep it, else reroll.

Also, if you're in a stage not very demanding in terms of dps output, you should be aware that fishing for either 3+ either 2+ with at least TB or SIW being one of the two is something good. The ramp up time is longer but the burst is higher (and overall, it's better if you're not against rerolling some times).

So if you roll TB, and only TB - don't reroll for 2? And if you get only SiW keep it if you're about to use AR and CotDB?
