The feasibly highest AK right now is 7 if you began it on the first day of the expansion's release since each piece of AK has a 3 day cooldown.

It's 5 days / AK. It's only shorter if you're behind several days.

These are literally water elemental bracers. Very little to no chance that these have anything to do with anything.

Jseyuin you might be referring to AT which can easily be 13 just through AP you get from chests, world quests, dungeons.

This is slightly incorrect.

If you begin, without research, at AK-1, then the highest possible right now is AK-5. And even then, most speed levelers will be getting that tonight/tomorrow.

AK research takes 5 days, with a catch-up mechanic if you forget to begin the research, that can drop it down to a minimum 3 days.

For example, if you wait to level your alts for a while, their AK research time will be 3 days(when they hit 110) until they catch up to your main's AK level(or possibly max AK level possible at the time), then it will be 5 days. So if you hit 110 now, your alt would have 3 day researches for at least 5 researches, maybe 1-2 more, then it would switch to 5 day.

I'm unsure if upon obtaining your artifact you're considered at 1 AK or if it's after the first research.

The only one incorrect is you.

Even if you started AK research day 1 launch, you still wouldn't be able to get past AK lvl 3. It's 5 days per research without being behind....The game has not been out 20 days yet...it's not possible to be past AK level 3.

Yes the water elemental bindings have been debunked in the original thread. Another red herring.

I also went back and went to see if their was anything I could do at Vrekt in Stormheim. Nothing really interesting happens there. I have helped the starvng wolf and slain it on another attempt with no success. I bribed the vrykul shepherd and have it attack both the wolf and the young drake which also resulted in nothing. I am half tempted to see if anything happens if I bribe the the shepherd and let him die to the wolf. I only bring this area up as it seems like their should be something to do.

Lets see I am still collecting the treasures and slaying the rares to check and see if that has any effect even if it is not related to the bindings.

if you don't begin with AK1, then it would be max AK 4, with most early levelers getting it tonight/tomorrow.

No one has AK lvl 5 because it's impossible. Unless there was a bug, no one should be past AK 3 atm.

There is a rare with nearly the same model on the island off the coast of Val'sharah called the Gloaming Reef. Lots of murlocs there as well.The one there is named Mglrrp, so there must be multiple types of this mob all over the broken isles.

something interesting that ive found while browsing wowdb:
the dwarf that you find in azsune is the same guy who got world first thunderfury, a dwarf warrior named wray, whats interesting is a npc of that same name was added in the game: http://www.wowdb.com/npcs/109496-wray , if you go to wowhead you will see that he wears the same armor aswell, but as far as i know during the shaman campaign you do not interact with the dwarf in any way, you just loot the weapon from the ground.

me and a couple of other rogues already tried searching for "wray" from various places, we searched from ironforge as we found a picture of wray standing by the forge in ironforge. searched both alive and while as a ghost.

as wray's corpse is on the ground itd make sense for his spirit to be somewhere, perhaps a spirit resser somewhere or a graveyard or something. did search all of faronaar in azsuna.

I'll add this guy to the NPC list but unless you find him there isn't much else to take from this.

This has been mentioned a few times, but thought I'd throw it out there again, to perhaps steer the hunt a little bit.

Looking around marin's vault, there are 3 distinct scenes.
One is a mogu statue, with a lever and a chest, this of course is depicting where the 1 confirmed appearance is located. This scene/weapon is basically a gimme that shows us how the hint works, it's very easy to get, nobody seems particularly excited about it, but it is essentially the key to understanding how to find the others.

The other two have been discussed and hunted some, there's the painting to the right of Marin that scene seems to be pointing people toward Black Rook Hold(which makes sense), from what I've read on multiple forums and the General flavor of the spec/weapon, that scene would seem to be the clue for assassination to get the cypher of broken bones.
The third scene seems to be the most open to interpretation, but it clearly has a sort of piratey theme, the anglerfish/murloc scene seems to be what should be driving the search.
I think finding the cross-section of what we know from the pirate themed section of marin's vault and the lore of the weapon is the key.
Again, I'm aware this is rehashing old topics, but I hope I made a decent point as to why focusing on this would be a logical pursuit.

Has the elite murloc island NW of aszuna been thoroughly explored?

This might well be a decent lead, I have looked at that lever a few times and wondered what relation it has to the vault. I also noticed that the items available from the vault do change regularly. I'll add some info to the speculation section.

It's a bug and they are using it, aka they are taking advantage of a bug and it's not fair in the slightest to the people smashing their heads against the wall trying to find it.

Rogue on Forums finds clue and basically gets confirmed officially by GM.

Few posts down another Rogue follows up on lead and discovers a text that in my opinion heavily references Thunderfury. (Albeit being ripped off by the how to train your dragon storyline)

Considering it was confirmed as a hint, has this already been debunked as NOT thunderfury? Because it certainly seems so.

They think its Assassination appearance, but I'm not convinced.

Where is the GM text?

Can you please refrain from posting information without posting information. A link is great but I would only use that to confirm what you are saying. Tell us what the lead is, not where it is - I can't see anything from a GM and I'm not reading it all. Thanks

The text literally denotes what happens in the film "How to train your Dragon" when hiccup flys into the final battle and falls to the ground. I can't consider this a lead as it has no information in it, other than a location. Need more substance.

The text literally denotes what happens in the film "How to train your Dragon" when hiccup flys into the final battle and falls to the ground. I can't consider this a lead as it has no information in it, other than a location. Need more substance.

Considering I'm maintaining the first post of the thread, I have to dilute and investigate all of the leads and give feedback to credible suggestions. It's helpful in that case if players post the actual information here with a lead to back it up - that is substantial. Not posts saying "hey look at this" from members who have 1-5 posts on MMO-Champion overall. Most of which are trolls, repeating information or simply making stuff up who get abusive when you don't agree with them.

If you don't like my tone, there isn't a lot I can do about that but try to remember how text reads from one person to another can often be subjective.

I saw the post and the screen shot later on - If you can actually tell me what to take from that information, then I'll add it but it is of my opinion it doesn't tell us anything about how or where to find the appearance or items. If you are seeing something I'm not tell me but again all I see is yet another pop-culture reference to add to the many thousands in the game already.

Let me preface this by saying I have not read through the original thread so no idea if this has been mentioned. Just started playing my rogue recently so been trying to catch up on the discussion.

So while running around herbing to stock up on pots/flasks for raids this week I ran across an elite mob named Thunderhorn (http://www.wowhead.com/npc=100838/thunderhorn#abilities). Have zero idea why he has 12.5 mill hp so looked him up on wowhead and apparently hes for nothing that is known. Thunderfury / Thunderhorn ... just thought it may be a possibility that he may have something to do with it.
