I loved it, especially the roots above coupled with the music, it really set the atmosphere
Yeah, I was expecting to be disappointed, but while it is a very simple design, it's very effective at setting the mood I think they were going for. Totally creepy, totally fitting that kafke-esque idea of nightmare. Horrible monsters appearing in the mist, twisted vines blocking all but a sliver of light.
I get why they did it and what they wanted to convey, but it didn't work out very well. It has that unfinished, level editor feel to it. Had to do a doubletake the first time I was there to see if it was actually untextured, or just..bright.
It was nice. A nice bonus for pet tamers it offers up a unique pet too.

Clearly bigging hit by the pixel shortage sweeping cyber communities everywhere. Much like when one of the first cash shop mounts came out and they used the poor wording "while supplies last" for a digital mount. Maybe the have to mirder and virtually 3d print real dragons so we can buy the for 15 to 30 dollars.
"Privilege is invisible to those who have it."
Well the room itself is pretty much below the tree, just look up and you'll see the roots.
It's meant to look like a nightmare. I feel like it captures the feel of that very well.
Xavius arena is exactly how all boss arenas should be.
also Four Kings from Dark Souls.

guess you dont know much about how horrifying the emerald nightmare is, and when it almost destroyed the world with that very fog, turning everyone against eachother, putting millions into a madness of sleep, turning them into mindless zombies attacking eachother, each having their own nightmare, turning on eachother

and? why does it need to be innovative?
every boss in black temple was in a green room
every boss in icc was in a blue room
only 2 bosses are in a fog room, now thats innovative
I think it looks ominous and great.
But I liked Sha of Fear too.
they had the right idea but failed miserably at replicating fog and a dream like state
