Learn to fucking read already. The difference is that in BC *I* went out and did things. BC is relevant because it's when Kara and the first set of attunements was introduced - it's call comparison. For the TBC version I didn't send followers on some silly mission I did the attunements; that's the difference I'm talking about, not how hard or easy it is. Finally if I HAVE to have 850 followers then it DOES make the mission table central to my ability to get into the new Kara. What's so fucking hard to understand about that?

Not that I disagree with you that the player actively doing shit to get attunements, no matter how big of a pain, is still more fun and interactive than the mission table shit, but Vanilla had quite a few attunements my friend. A whole slew of them.

BRD, Molten Core, BWL, Scholomance, UBRS, Onyxia's Lair, Dire Maul, almost all of them had either some kind of key quest (in the case of the dungeons) or a big attunement quest (in the case of the raids, especially Onyxia, I still have nightmares about escorting fucking Marshall whats-his-nuts out of jail in LBRS for the Alliance Onyxia attunement.

In WoD you needed a certain level on the followers for the raid missions to show up. Maybe this is simply "for the karazhan mission to appear, you need followers with appropriate item level". Just like you need followers at 800 to do the dungeon missions, but you can enter mythic dungeons at whatever item level you feel like.

I have 5 active champions at 820-825 without pushing hard. I always do a mission that rewards an ilvl upgrade
Getting a followers to 850 shouldn't be problem

As a druid, getting ilvl upgrades for my followers suck. The class hall upgrade to get items sometimes from quests has given me about 5 items since launch where my warrior friend who places work orders has 4 guys at 850 ilvl already. So i hope it's not true.

I did read somewhere the other day that the attunement is going to be a bunch of dungeons you need to do though, not the 3x850 follower mission.

How exactly is that impossible for mere mortals? You place your work orders, and you get equipment. And you send out your followers every now and then and focus on the missions that give equipment, the app is amazing for this, no need to log in at all.

What I am saying is it takes you about 1 minute each day. You send them out on a mission - 10 seconds of work each time (as long as you log out in Order Hall). You create work orders - 10 seconds each time. Or you can do it while you walk to your car on the app.

So it is merely you who are too lazy. I haven't really worked hard on my Order Hall, as it honestly doesn't matter much if you do it or not. Sure those missions that grant a free item is nice, but meh. I do however have the app installed, and while I brew my morning coffe, walk to the car, lie in bed, I simply open the app -> send out followers -> create work orders.

You are complaining about how long it will take to get 3 followers to 850 before 7.1 comes out? We are like one month in and I got 3 840 and 2 830. Time is not an issue at all.

Also it isn't a part of the attunement, as have been stated long ago, it is simply one of those dungeon quests.

I'm really sick of anything requiring you to use the misson table (looking at you, artifact/class campaign!). I don't want to do these bullshit missions, I don't want [to] "level" and gear up followers. -.-

Not complaining at all... I was just making an observation. I'm quite happy with my (realistic) progress, and have no desire for any unobtainable goals.

Have 2 guys at epic, 5 guys above 800 .... all is fine.

I obtain mine from missions. In another 7 days, had I chosen it - I could place work orders for follower gear.

It's like you people cannot read. No, it won't be an issue for people playing now and who know to do this. It WILL be an issue for alt, people who don't follow the forums so might not be focusing on leveling followers (doing AP missions instead), etc. This has been noted over and over and fucking OVER. Read the damn thread.

Everyone saying this kind of thing forgets that most players dont follow sites like MMO-C, have been told that the mission table isn' as central to the game and might well be thinking 'well then why level followers? I need AP..."

Plus, of course, it's just lazy design by a team that doesn't seem to be able to do player quest chains anymore.
