Raid lockouts for farming, what am i doing wrong?

Tried to share lockouts trough characters but somewhere i fucked up.

1. Main clears raid untill last boss
2. Main goes outside, creates group in LFG.
3. Log alt. Join group.
4. Log main. Invite to group.
5. Log alt, accept invite.
6. Go to instance, take the save and kill last boss.

Now alt is saved, but main too (gets prompted to take the save everytime he walks in). And other characters trying to enter trough the main get saved aswell. Where did i fuck up?

is the raid on normal? if you did a clear in heroic then you are donezo, make sure the character with the save is outside the raid instance

Yeah did ICC on heroic. Do i have to get em in normal and then inside swap to HC?
In the raid info frame it still says Lich King is available..

In icc you have to share the lockout on normal and switch it to heroic on the alt.
If you share the id on heroic both characters will get saved.

yep, you need to clear everything in normal

Aw fuck me, wasted 3 saves. Oh well.
Ulduar is just normal right?
How do you do DS? I tried Swapping to HC before but it said i coulnd as all were done on normal.
