Man, Trump choked hard at the end, that was uncomfortable. For his sake I hope this first debate isn't what people hold the strongest in their minds. It's weird to me how he drew on all the tools to attack Hillary's character (as she did to him... over and over and over again) but couldn't really find a way to use them properly.

I'd be surprised if tonight did anything but hurt his campaign. He was strong enough on law and crime but not so much anywhere else. Clinton was much more concise and to the point.

Cruz is actually a good person, memes and know-nothing-opinions aside that guy would have done well.

Sanders would have been interesting to see, doubt even 1/10th of his agendas would have made it past either side of Congress but they could sparked good compromises.
