Infinite dragonflight and the next expansion

if everything is pointing towards the next expansion being about the old gods getting released or something similar because of what we do in the broken isles, would this explain why the infinite dragonflight decided to help Kairoz and Wrathion to get into Draenor?? so they could bring Gul dan back, who would in turn bring the legion and open the Tomb of Sargeras, starting a series of events that will lead to the reapparence of the old gods!!??

I would say he's indirectly helping them. He was tricked and corrupted by presumably N'Zoth to try and end-around his own death, but he also implies that the timeline that End Time takes place in is a better overall fate than the true End Time:

You crawl unwitting, like a blind, writhing worm, towards endless madness and despair. I have witnessed the true End Time. This? This is a blessing you simply cannot comprehend.
This sort of implies that although helping N'Zoth bring about End Time, he still has some cognizant awareness and is only doing so to attempt to prevent an even worse fate, presumably shown to him by the Titans, his own forays into future timelines, or possibly N'Zoth himself.

However, without Murozond or Kairoz to lead them, I doubt the Infinite Dragonflight would be up to very much on their own.

Or that he just considers him living is better than the one where he dies.

murozond brought the hour of twilight as a blessing because our alternatives would've been much worse (according to his voicelines in the instance)

Murozond's endtime seemed to be planetary extinction; maybe he thought that destroying the world was better than letting the Old Gods corrupt Azeroth and rise as a Dark Titan for the Void Lords. So the 'true' endtime could be if the Void Lords achieve their goal of conquering the universe, while Murozond's alternate endtime was a 'kinder' death for everyone.

Doesn't mean that Murozond wasn't ultimately a pawn of the Old Gods/Void Lords, whatever he thought of himself. Something strange causes the transformation from a bronze dragon into a black and blue photo-negative infinite dragon.

He tells us that the current end of the world is a blessing compared to the "true" end time.

Either way, we're dead. The fact that he's saying that everyone dying THIS way is better than everyone dying a DIFFERENT way is pretty telling. He's not referring to his own life/death, he's referring to ours/Azeroth's.

Yeah he might be telling the truth but this is also someone that turned against everything they believed in. I think it would be a good idea to take what ever he say's with a grain of salt.

The only reason I think they could be used is in the WoD alpha, there were random time portals opening up in Tanaris, with high level infinite spawning throughout the zone.

I did notice that Elisande uses time spells and Infinite whelplings appear in her Nighthold encounter (i don't have a reference to this sorry). Could be a hint to this theory.
Also the Infinite dragonflight serve Murozond and his real goal is to not die i believe, so we may have to deal with him again because of time stuff.

I love all of this "everything is pointing towards old gods in the next expansion" when for all we know Nzoth could be the 2nd tier raid boss just like Yogg.

Murozond and the Infinite Flight weren't helping the Old Gods, they were trying to bring about a 'dead' Universe in which nobody wins.

Our Agenda: Defend Azeroth until her world-soul comes to fruition, and she can defeat the Void Lords.
Void Lord Agenda: Corrupt Azeroth, and turn her into a Dark Titan where she can shape the entire Universe in the Void Lords image.
Sargeras Agenda: Destroy Azeroth (and the whole Universe) to prevent the Void Lords from succeeding.
Murozond Agenda: Kill Azeroth's world-soul, but preserve the planet. The Old Gods are dead, the Void Lords are thwarted, the Legion is without purpose, the world is a dead, empty husk. But hey, Murozond survives, so that's cool, right?

Plus he can escape to an alternate Azeroth to form the Iron Dragonflight.
