While I appreciate your attempt at giving advice. Being that there have been several video cards linked/mentioned here, it would be helpful if you were to indicate which one you were speaking in regards to. : D

The Nvidia GT720 you bought is crap, gaming cards are branded GTX, GT is multimedia and not made for gaming that's why they are so cheap it's mostly made for computers with no onboard graphics who don't require gaming grade cards.

i.e. a pc to watch some netflix and browse the internet/check mails.

You should just ignore this person's opinion as he did not read the thread and has no idea about what he is talking about.

I figured as much, lol. I am not technologically disinclined, just generally when I shop for PC parts I go straight for top of the line. I believe this is the first instance where I have set out to find a bare minimum potato powering component. xD

Thank you again for your feedback/Input. : D

Yw mate, glad to have helped you.

This thread was a challenge bc I have never shopped for a lowest power requirement part either in the past, but 3D Mark 11 Benchmark results helped me to find the right solution for you.

    I wouldn't bother. It's unlikely to work.

If you've got a decent internet connection on both ends, it could be worth playing with Steam streaming. WoW is not a Steam game, and Steam wasn't designed to run it over the internet, but it's worth a go.
