Imo outlaw will still have a strong place in Mythic+ dungeons because of the interaction of bladeflurry/TB/MfD on trash pulls. Whether that'll end up better or worse than Shuriken Storm/Nightblade/ShD spam I'm still unsure of.
About relics, this is updated with the last nerf on outlaw traits.

People like you, are you trolling or just that fucking obstinate?
https://www.warcraftlogs.com/rankings/10#class=Rogue
Blindly following sims will get you nowhere. Nothing has changed but bring Outlaw closer inline to the other specs and Sub will 100% outscale Outlaw on single target in better gear. Outlaw is still king atm with current gear.
Infracted.

I have tried so hard to like Outlaw, but the play style, i just can't like it no matter how hard i try. I start out doing well, competetive dps, pulling my weights, then at the end of the day i underperform hard because i just don't bother trying. Happens every day. Assassin is kinda meh. Somehow i pull less dps today then i did yesterday pre-nerf. So yay me i guess. And sub i haven't tried yet, but ive invested way to much in the other 2 specs. so Rip.
I don't know if you're in denial or just didn't do well pre-nerf but I went from top of the meters to 5th-6th being stomped by face rollers and mouth breathers. Starving for energy, burning teas and still not keeping up. In line?!?!?! Demon Hunters and Warlocks do double the damage we did pre-nerf, but that's clearly fair and balanced. They screwed rogues who spent a month farming AP and gearing their artifact for Outlaw because Blizzard has no plan, no math, and no idea what they're doing.
I kind of agree, I've got a good grasp of when to re-roll and how to use the buffs to my advantage and I'm still starved for energy now and struggling to keep up where I used to be fine. Maybe its my stats but my rogue feels much clunkier. I replaced Ghostly Strike with Pistol purely to speed the game-play up a bit. Was getting wrecked on heroic ursoc last night until I rolled a six and was able to catch up, but the general rng nature of our rotation means that our highs just got lower, and our lows just got lower too. If I hadn't got that six I would have been fucked and removed from group. Although I did better on future bosses.
Obviously my experience is anecdotal but it'll be interesting to see what happens with logs this week.
I think the evidence will stack up over the logs for the week.
I am a good rogue player, been mythic/old heroic raiding since raids started way back when. I have a very good handle on how to reroll as outlaw, got multiple 95% percentile ranks last week.
BUt I just feel weak this week, energy starved, and when I get good rolls it only brings me up to the rest of the dps who either had no nerfs (fire mages), their nerfs reversed (DHs) or insane buffs (everyone else).
I honestly think blizzard didnt take in to account the higher energy. lower damage, and energy starvation when they made these changes.

This. We were nerfed from mid-top to bottom-mid while other OP classes like Marksmanship or Feral weren't even touched at all. Completely over the top and disgusting considering their promised "buffing weaker specs instead of nerfing stronger specs" approach.

Sure, it's just a day of logs. Still, it's enough parses to get a glimpse of the picture.
I'm personally not willing to accept this impudence after farming artifact power for weeks. Either this is turned around real quick or they're going to lose a sub for sure. F****** morons doing month-long Alphas and Betas and delivering this joke of "balance".
I have to agree -- I invested a lot of time into farming artifact power for the Dreadblades, somewhat secure in blizz's word they would be buffing weaker specs not nerfing stronger specs. I like all three rogue specs and I'm willing to play any of them, what I'm not willing to do is invest a lot of time in their game just for them to change the rules and compel me to spend even more time farming more AP for what had been an off spec. They either need to refund our AP when they make changes like this or fix the spec.
To all who hate-love roll the bones: I created a little addon!

Ok, it's time to stop pointless fighting and get back on ranks. Calling each other names won't bring the discussion very far and it's pretty useless.
Non ti fidar di me se il cuor ti manca.
In regard to the justification I keep seeing for the RT nerfs: if Outlaw's choice is going to be between Blade Flurry or better ST, I'd rather they bring OL's AoE in line with the other two specs. Constant spec swapping between trash and bosses was alright before artifact power entered the scene, but I don't want to be at a huge disadvantage against other DPS classes until we get two maxed out weapons 6 months from now.

anyone having issues with Blade Flurry dealing dmg to MC'd players on Nythendra? It wasn't always registering for me.

Well thats it for us I guess, yes I have put AP in Sin but no way near as how much I've have in Outlaw.
Goddamn Blizz.........
Anyone simmed if haste is better for us now? I feel like energy starvation is the name of the game after Fatebringer nerf.
Ok what are the Results After the nerf and buffs?
Is it Bad or not do we switch to sub?
It is so Hard to tell
