I'm 17, have raided in RIFT, Wildstar, and A little bit in Cataclysm
I also pay bills occasionally, give money to charity when I can, and often loan money to friends or family when they need it
So to me I am no different than any 25-30 year old you can find.

The term Adult means nothing other than ones age. There are 14 year old kids far more mature than many 21 year old "adults"
It's all about how your raised and whatnot, I have met many adults that got wasted, been arrested, got out, got wasted again. Cheated on their wives/husbands ect ect. and on the other side I have met 16-17 year old "kids" who work jobs, go to school maintain a healthy relationship, stay out of trouble and so one.
This may not be totally relevant as there is nothing WoW related here. but it just bugs me when people think there age suddenly makes them superior and more mature than anyone younger than them.
Not saying this is you of course, but the constant "kid" calling is obnoxious

I personally do not allow people younger than 19 in my guild and I prefer not to get people above 35 (I am 26). Having the players around the same generations makes it easier for us to find common ground and communicate and group outside of guild organized raids. It has worked out great so far.
Must have at least 5 years exerience of being an adult, to be an adult. And that means adult responsibilities, not the same responsibilities you had in high school.
Sorry timmy but in the real world everyone doesnt get a participation trophy. Maturity is earned through life experience, not a birthday.
