We aren't talking about Manafort here, we're talking about Page.

Who seems to be accused of private communications with top Russian officials just because he worked in Russia, visited Russia, and invested in Russia.

My apologies, those two have the same MO which is why the mistake was made. The fact I could confuse the two is not really a good sign.

I also live in Georgia which is part of the bible belt, I would not be surprised if the people manning the tables were doing a church project. It certainly isn't a bong friendly environment even if inevitably the majority of them sneak behind their curtains at home to light up a bong on a nightly to weekly basis.

Spanish (or actually any second language) should be mandatory on schools and universities. It makes you think different

Just so we're clear, Page is an aggressive investor in the Russian energy market, and promotes others to do the same. Russia owns a majority share in the companies he's invested in. The sanctions levied on Russia for invading Ukraine are hurting his portfolio and he's admitted such openly. So, Page has very specific personal profit conflicts of interest, that happen to coincide with money coming to the Russian government.

That's not a "distraction" as he put it. That's a provable conflict of interest.

Every college and highschool I have ever been to has had mandatory second language class, I took German in college because I married a Polish girl who spoke German and I already spoke it so it was an easy A. Highschool I was required to take spanish, I hated the teacher so much that I laughed when they hauled her off to prison for using our class trip funds to pad her bank account.

It amazes me how Trump has managed to turn Republicans pro-russian and anti-Iraq war. Just two years ago Republicans would scream about WoMD conspiracies still and now if you voted for it like Hillary did you are an evil empire. My how the times change.

And more hits keep coming on Trumps misogynist view of women. He wanted women who worked for him fired if he thought they were not pretty enough or not slim enough, to the extent he tried to get a women who he thought was fat fired.

Its not just one isolated example either. Its numerous people saying this at a variety of his different businesses.

Also from the PBS documentary they did on the candidates Trump's an apparent believer in eugenics. You know that thing where some people and racial groups are genetically superior to others which led to the Nazi genocide of Jews, Eastern Europeans and Russians. It was instilled in him by his father who believed in it too. Its not a conspiracy theory either as there is quite a bit of evidence from the past statements he's made that he truly believes this -

What? He just took the phrase 'trimming the fat' too literally. That's all. (I'm being sarcastic.)

Is there anyone who actually thinks Trump isn't misogynistic? It's pretty well established that his views on women are a bit on the outdated side. He's made all that fairly clear between his comments and interviews over the years.

Eugenics gets a bit darker than that, not only is it the belief increasing the population of popular genetic traits through higher rates of sexual reproduction but also the reduction of unpopular genetic traits through reduced sexual production including but not limited to sterilization or whole scale genocide.

There was a point in American history where eugenics were employed against sexual predators to the point that they were finding out they had sterilized people who later were found to be innocent of the sexual crimes they were accused of who now could never have children again due to the failures of the justice system.

You mean like 'Hillary doesn't look like a president" which blew up in his face the first time he used that on Fiorina? Donald is an old dog who can't learn new tricks.

Wow...that clip. Between his gloating about how smart and good at English he is but...is he really still referencing selective breeding and making hints to eugenics on the campaign trail. How the hell did media miss this until now?

I just had a conversation with my 'drink from the fountain of Rush' conservative co-worker whose hobby it is to get angry about politics and scream about it.

Him; "I can't believe Liberals say that Trump was for the war in Iraq! It's been proven he has always been against it! It was Hillary that was for it! She voted for it!"
Me: "Yeah, She was for it and he was always against it!" (I am leading him into a logic trap.)
Him; "You're damn straight! She's disgusting!"
Me: "And he was obviously always against the war!"
    Him, "Yeah!"
Me: "Wait, was this the Iraq War? The war where we went in to stop them from using weapons of mass destruction?"
Him, "Yeah, they had weapons of mass destruction so we had to go in there and take them out."
Me: "So it was good that we went into Iraq!"
him, "Yeah, we had no choice!"
Me, "But Donald says it was bad, right?"
    Him, "What do you mean?"
Me, "Well Hillary voted for it and is against it now, but trump was always against it? But wasn't it good to go in and stop them?"
Him, "Well yeah it was good but that isn't the point. The point is she says it was bad but she voted for it, he didn't vote for it!"
Me, "But it is good that she did or else we couldn't go in and get the weapons, and he would of stopped that... right?"
At that point he went silent while thinking, then said, "Well it was an unpopular war, that is all."
    Me, "Oh.... Okay."

It was like watching Yo'Sammity Sam shoot himself in the face.
