IMO the ash'golm binding drop doesn't make much sense when considering the recent events in legion(Thunderaan recently made windlord, among others). The only logic i can put to it is that all elementals have "Bindings" and these drops are just elemental bindings powerful enough to contain an Elemental Lord, and Thunderaan is the buyer.

i would like to try this if anyone is interested. So we can farm the dungeons faster

Ok guys. Please find out if you can get it from:
1. A mythic+ dungeon. I.E Mythic 7 Nelfs.
2. A Mythic Nelf/Vault where you have already completed it for the week. Meaning you can't loot the boss.

EDIT: Since drops started to appear from AK5, it's definitely a confirmed trigger (given the amount of runs done, if it wasn't the binding would have surely dropped to someone). We don't know if right binding actually requires AK6 or not, but people is raising AK so fast that we need to do specific tests for that. Both of those are a no. Mythic+ does not drop anything quest related at all because you don't loot the bosses. The chests have Mythic+ specific gear in them. The same goes if you're saved to a Mythic boss. You can do these in Heroic and Normal so feel free to spam Normal Originally Posted by Sonics12

Pretty sure it's just a low drop rate and the same bosses as the beta (No rep needed, just low drop) If the other binding dropped with neither of the reps required I see no reason to need to disprove the HM/stormheim rep for the binding from NL. As it's just gonna be a low drop rate.
