Black Rook Hold M+15 Video (EU)

Since we haven't had that much fun doing dungeons for a while we thought id be a cool idea to share the video from our BRH M+15 run on EU.
We strongly encourage everyone to go ahead and try it themselfs because it's just super fun figuring out viable strats that work for your group composition!

We got the achievment at around 4 pm CEST Saturday 08.10.2016.
Affixes: Bolstering, Overflowing and Tyrannical

Considering we played this run pretty sloppy (we didnt expect to finish it in time) M+16 should be doable with the current gear quite easily

Before this run we took a VotW M+12 in one go up to M+14 (we got Maw M+14 from this)
Dungeons we bricked/stopped trying:
2* M+11 Halls of Valor
M+12 DHT

Nice, man. Gonna watch video when I get home. One of our keys that turned into +13 halls of valor was a +12 thicket that we did, was the reason you abandoned it the last boss?

The last boss in DHT could one shot everyone except the tank with his Nightmare bolt in M+12. We figured we could do the instance with the proper colldown usage but it just would take way to much time so we went for a fresh keystone instead.

Not really. Look at the warcraftlogs top mythic+ runs. There are quite a lot disc priests up there.
Disc semes to be really good - only problem is that there are too many priests that can't play the specc

Nice... completely changed the last 24 hours. Yesterday there were many groups with disc priests. Now there is none in the top list.
But they're only short behind ;-)

I was wondering why the damage was so high and then I noticed, you guys are prepotting/potting each trash pack and bosses.

That'S some dedication to blow about 60 pots for the run (at 1.2-1.5k a pot, that's quite the money sink).

Pot doesnt cost that much if you make them with Rank 3, I had mats for 25 and got close to 60, thats more like 300-400g

I prefer the resto druid, but I agree its a higher skill cap spec.

Did you manage to find a whisper target though?

On topic - amazingly well done. I tried BRH+8 yesterday and we got destroyed by the archers before the second boss. They ignore aggro and just randomly shoot at people, it seems like 2-3 hits was enough to kill a player very fast.

I'm really happy to see a +15 involving a disc. I knew it would be strong when they took the playstyle from mw, made it ranged, and gave it to disc because blizz loves ranged and disc. Maybe now all the pleb priests that can't figure out how to do something other than spam pw:s for 80% of their hps will actually have to acknowledge how bad they are.

Because there is a shitload of mobs in BRH and you don't need the ones at the beginning to obtain 100%.

If you skip all the trash to the first boss you just have to clear everything in the instance. Which honestly isn't that bad because there isn't much you can avoid aside from a pack in the back and the side room in the demon infested room.

Honestly the trash to the first boss wastes so much time. The protectors start casting sacrifice soul sub 50% and if they get the cast off it's a 75% DR to the entire group for 15 seconds. Sure they take more damage if they get the cast off, but you'll be sitting there doing nothing for 15 seconds while you wait for that DR to come off. Skipping the trash at the beginning locks you out of pots for awhile, but you will more than make up the time you saved from skipping the first four trash packs.

The only other option to skip I suppose would be the trash to the last boss, which would probably be better served just using combat rezzes at the top.

You don't even have to use invis potions to skip the trash mobs up until the first boss - Just run behind the Tank and let him drag the mobs to the right while you are running to the left (up to the boss). Just rezz him afterwards and you are gucci

It's either the Frag Belt from Engineering or it's the Cobalt Frag Bomb.
