Yeah, you try convincing the employers that it's better when they have to pay like 3-4 times more in wages for hiring the refugees instead of guest workers. All I can say is: Good luck. It would either be the death of those industries or heavily increased costs for food they produce if they couldn't use cheap labor from guest workers.

Also, welfare? The refugees are receiving money without working. This is not USA where if you don't have a work you are out of luck and become homeless. You get your rent paid for, you get your food paid for, you get your electricity paid for and you get some pocket money for entertainment too. They have enough money to live a comfortable life without working.

If everyone get their rent paid for here in Sweden how come we have homeless people here?

because they don't have anywhere to live.
Only people with kids are also guaranteed a place to live.

Because you're not guaranteed a place to live. You only get your rent paid for if you actually have an apartment in the first place. It's mostly mentally ill people who can't take care of themselves and pay for themselves in time due to their problems with living a normal life and alcoholists who spend all the aid on alcohol instead of paying for their living costs that end up homeless or they're ignoring the requirements for using the welfare program and loses the aid as a result of their own actions.

You're not going to see Sven, 37, who has no mental health problems or alcohol/drug problems end up homeless just because he's unemployed because of cut offs in his previous job.

If you actually live in Sweden you should know what socialbidrag is for.

In recent years, a new trend emerged, loots of occupational beggars from eastern europe. Then we have a smale number of citizen that is drug abuser or mentaly ill, but not that ill so they are under compulsory care and locked up in a hospital, but to ill to managing an apartment.

Homelessness is pretty much a choice here in Sweden. there's plenty of ways to get out of it if you chose to.
but that's not really what this topic is about is it?
