What legendary?..
Mythic Maw of Souls ... not the BiS legendary, but a decent one and coming from my favorite dungeon (I'd say ever) was a huge plus for the satisfaction.
Still only have that one
nythendra hc gave me mine

another friend got one from heroic cenarius
The one I got on my DH was from the WQ chest. Did the dailies on two other characters, never had another one pop.

Legendaries are a myth.
A M+ and the raid.
..and so he left, with terrible power in shaking hands.
First, ghoul ring from M+ bonus chest

It's silly to put in "don't have one" in this poll.
It's about "where", not about "if".
Answering the question of "where" demands you to have one. This way you can see a chart by percentage where the highest chances to get a legendary are.
Involving "don't have one" shifts the percentages by the amount of people that don't have one at all while on top of that it does have nothing to do with the topic of "source".
Example (with simplified numbers and only 4 sources)
40% worldquests
40% mythic dungeons
15% mythic+
5% Pvp
And people would know the best source to rely on to get their legendary.
If 80% of all people don't have one while only 20% of all people got one, the chart would look like:
8% worldquests
8% mythic dungeons
3% mythic+
1% PvP
80% "q.q I don't have one" (And I say this as one of those who don't have one either)
And that does not help on this topic. People would have to multiply the values again by 5 to finally get their values to rely on the "where". Since the chances to get one in world quests would not be 8%, but still 40% in this simplified example.

What legendary? 5 lvl 110s all of them above ilvl 840 and 3 of them at 860. done roughly 200+ mythic+ runs across 5 characters and guess what still no legendary. and i am not researching the option of hiya you can use 2 legendarys now. really that is the most massive waste of order resources out there since researching it means you get nothing back on your investment of 15000 resources
Whilst browsing the armory and looking at other players characters.
Got both of my 2 legs from mythic +4
@araine
Still though you should research it. Look at the time involvement to research it. Imagine you get now your first legendary and start researching it while over the upcoming week you get a 2nd one. You'd have to wait for the whole remaining time till you can equip it. Order resources are by far not anything like "hard to obtain". What else to spend it on? From doing World Quests you'll get more than you need anyway and it's an investment for the future.
Young people don't have anything from paying up for their old-age pension. They might even die before getting old enough. Still most people do it.
WQ chest in Suramar
My shaman got hers from the WQ cache and my druid got hers from the m+ cache in her class hall.
