Wait, no, that's not irony, that's hypocrisy. Nevermind.

You seem to underestimate the level of fatigue a lot of Democrats have towards working class whites. Consistently pushing for more comprehensive, more effective social safety nets, higher wages, better social services, only to have future plans stymied and existing plans dismantled because 'hurr, big government' or 'hurr, welfare queens' despite the fact that implementation of such programs would directly benefit said working class whites. I would wager quite a few Democrats view that demographic as so obstinate as to be not worth the time trying to reason with.

The other factor is a lot of the feeling of disenfranchisement is rooted in racism, misogyny, et cetera and pretending that it is a valid viewpoint by attempting to empathise isn't remotely productive, or sane.

Pence : I really believe Trump's message will come through.

Hahahahahahaha, these guys are supposed to be fucking professionals. Sad thing for all these Trump supports, with digital media being what it is these days all of the records will be around for years to come. Poor bastards.

Given that the linked article reverberated with you, I'm calling bullshit on your credentials. That article is a pile of manure.

*I did like the comparison with Iron Man: hey if a super hero can do it, why can't Trump. You're all a bunch of haters!
(How the hell do you take an article seriously that makes that kind of a comparison.)

I think you might be onto something...maybe...I know someone who benefitted a lot from social programs but supports candidates who would douse the programs in gasoline and light them on fire.

Your credentials are just contrary to what I expect of someone who would find the article you linked to be meaningful.

Maybe it's a weird accident. But the persons who flaunt their credentials the most on this forum. Also seem to be the biggest COPYPASTA's on this forum.

They're just one credential away from telling us about their time as a navy SEAL.

@Breccia Did you see that Trump's second biggest cheerleader, Chris Christie just had a criminal summons issued for him by the judge in the Bridgegate trial? He faces a possible 10 years of prison for Misconduct in Office if convicted.

Yeah, the need to validate themselves is always a cause for suspicion.

Incidentally, citation of credentials is at times necessary to address accusations of ignorance or similar negative associations that forum trolls like to levy in lieu of actual discussion. Now please, cease with the attempts at personal attacks, as they are unbecoming and only serve to lower the standards for discourse on this site.
A whole alphabet soup behind your name, yet you miss the obvious futility of claiming credentials on an anonymous forum.

But do go on. Can't wait to hear about the time you invented the toaster struedel.

This is sad, and made sadder by the fact that I already clearly pointed out that I neither support Trump nor believe that economic hardship validates his follower's actions. The point I made was that ignoring some of the real problems that give rise to the socioeconomic frustrations which have helped elevate Trump is doing more long term harm than good.

But you came looking for a fight, not a discussion and an open sharing of ideas. The adult thing to do, the un-Trump thing to do, would be to apologize for the personal attack and engage in a reasoned dialogue about our diverging ideas.
Selectively read what your wrote? Yeah, I did but you're not special there. I do that with the vast majority of posts that I see here. What did catch my eye though was you stating your credentials after having posted that absolutely ridiculous article. What makes your posts even more entertaining is your regular call for a high level of discourse but, again, you linked an article that is absolute fluff. How does that follow? It doesn't: non sequitur. A major disconnect between what you do and what you state.

I respond with what I find humorous not with what you want me to talk about.

And a high level of discourse does not imply that the only ideas or articles discussed are those you agree with or which you choose to highlight for personar entertainment. It pertains to the manner in which a discussion is carried out. Since you have shown no interest in treating me or anyone you disagree with with a modicum of respect or civility, I'm afraid that I will simply have to disengage at this point and allow you and your friends to continue the circle jerk that this forum hasbecome. Take care, you "win", and what you win is precisely what we all fear Trump will usher forth: a race to the bottom of the muck flinging pile that conversation in this country has devolved into.

Neither of those things. Its just that humans in general are selfish pieces of shit.

Just look at basically any thread about social programs/welfare/taxes on this forum. Our typical right wing posters swarm such threads with "why should I pay blah blah lazy failures?"

Look up a couple Orlong posts for some examples. The guy often goes on about how its perfectly acceptable for hospitals to let people who can't pay die if it means less taxes for him, for example.

Well, people are selfish pieces of shit when they can't put names and faces to who they're trying to screw over. It's not just right wingers who do this, a lot of progressives might complain about entitled white males in general, but exempt their own friends and acquaintances whom they know to be good people from that category.

Called it. This won't stop until elections are over. Sorry Drumpf fangirls, perhaps now you realise just how bloody stupid the idea to vote for him is. And remember... this is him trying to come across as a smart guy, trying to convince people to like and vote for him.

This is him trying to behave. Rofl.

Anybody else is kind of disgusted when Trump is sniffing during debates? Listing to some of the news online with earbuds and it's annoying at least.

First debate he blamed his microfoon and forced the debate commission to agree with him but the 2e.....

There is so much about him to be disgusted about, that this is not even bothering me slightest.
