I GET SO tired of people saying how handsome I am. God, how dare they. I can't help it that I'm drop dead gorgeous.

For real though, if that is the only compliment you get... I can see it getting tiresome. Unless, of course, you make mad bank, then I wouldn't really give a shit what people thought about the rest of me.

It's like dude, I'm not fucking looking for compliments here, it's a 30 second conversation that could have been avoided.

Women sometimes compliment me on my eyelashes cause they're naturally... uh, long? and pretty?? No fucking clue but apparently what takes them time to achieve I just have naturally. I'm not really tired of hearing it it's just odd because I never think of them so whenever I hear it I'm always thrown off on what to say.


"You would look great if you wore more colors" which is idk not really a compliment but I tend to wear Black/Gray shirts almost always... kinda carried over from my days of being overweight but I also just like wearing those colors.

Oh and when people compliment me on my tattoos because it's almost always followed by asking for an explanation of what they mean/when I got them. I've forgotten the dates I received them and I don't like explaining them because they're personal and long ass stories that don't make sense to anyone but myself.

This thread reminds me of that one Twilight Zone episode where you have a guy who is sick of people so he dreams up a world where everyone is just like him and realizes what total asshole he is.

This also reminds me of Se7en where Morgan Freeman feels that apathy is the solution that no one should bother with anyone other than themselves. I gotta admit that would be horrible world to live in. Not saying I would want to live in a world like Demolition Man but I'd take that world than Se7en any day of the freakin week.

I think the topic on this thread should really be renamed "what do you hate hearing when people are trying to cheer you up?" or at least that is what this thread has turned into.
