    Time to bring back reforging?

At least on rings/necks.. It would make it so that the item that's 30 ilvls isn't a downgrade..

    Yes please. I loved Reforging.

Or, put primary stats back on accessories. Just have them switch between STR/INT etc. when you switch speccs, just like on other pieces of gear.

I would like a new spin on the reforging system, but yes, when your class only loves to have 1 secondary stat, it hurts your ability to gear up.

yeah id like reforging back too. with how important ilvl are for groupfinden ilvl is just to bad as an indicator for power. and blizz is even pushing ilvl over stats with the way the trading of items works

no. reforging was a waste of time. if you dont like your stats, then blizzard needs to do a better job of making stats relevant, not add some arbitrary button clicking thing so that you can get a tiny bit more of X at a cost of Y.

Blizzard are giving players what they wanted.
The community is obsessed with "quick" judgements.
There will be an addon judging if you reforged right, and will be judged harshly if you didn't.

Reforging will simply become another judgement.
Something else you "have" to do, according to the community.

It near completely kills what blizzard are trying to do with the upgrades extending the relevance of content.
It makes even otherwise inferior gear in current content better than it should be.

I would like reforging back. If they would have you reforge everything at once, and have sliders like in the addons that were around.

At which point why have any random on the loot, you might has well have only one item per slot per spec.
The starting stats are nearly irrelevant.

Absolutely not with only four secondary stats.

this... it makes loot meaningless it's a good thing reforging is gone.

Loot is even now more meaningless. 1 piece of gear, 1000 ways it can roll and each worse then the last. Gear 40ilvls higher actually worse then some random blue.

Reforging was so much fun even hitting the 15% expertise and 7,5% hit was fun The game is so bland nowadays

Then why slap some even more broken system on top of it instead fixing secondary stats and gear drops?

Upgrades on neck/ring are currently worthless in some cases, since they have no primary stat on them. If they want to put primary on them, fine. Otherwise, it is 100% possible to have a piece of gear that is 40+ ilvls higher that is subpar to something with the correct main secondary on it.

As far as being judged, how so? Right now people would gladly slap on 3 subpar pieces of gear for the ilvl bump just to get picked over a player with a low ilvl... regardless of if that player actually understands itemizing better.

Id rather they fix the gear drops and stats. But lets face it, they couldnt do it in WoD and some how managed to make the loot system even worse in Legion.

Players are being judged harshly and have been for years on the simpler but equally flawed measure of item level.
It doesn't matter how much you may understand it, people are judged harshly on simplistic and poor measures.
Players were judged when we had reforging, and will be again if it returns.

This for sure. If all someone is going to do is reforge all their secondary stats to haste then why have different stats at all on gear? Might as well just make every piece for each spec always roll their favorite stats and be BIS. And then at that point, why even have gear with stats at all if everyone is just going to be reforging the same way and wearing the same BIS stuff? All reforging does is add pointless tedium and homogenization to the game.

It is to the characteristics of change itself that the mentat-generalist must look. There can be no permanent catalogue of such change, no handbook or manual. You must look at it with as few preconceptions as possible, asking yourself, "Now what is this thing doing?" -Children of Dune

This would be nothing more than a band-aid for the larger issue of secondary stats being too powerful for too many specs. And that's further complicated by the complete lack of primary stats on rings and necks, which means even for classes who don't favor a secondary stat over their primary, the lack of that primary stat will mean any neck/ring that doesn't have the best secondary stat will not be an upgrade in most cases.

My 850 crafted ring, with it's total 1466 Mastery due to the gem slot, is better than every single ring in game except a single ring out of Mythic EN. Outside of random upgrade procs at least.
