Are there any maps that you guys tend to dodge?
I get tired of control maps(where both teams rush to the same point to capture it) fast, mostly because of peoples hero choices.
I also really dislike Route 66 - atleast when defending. The only fun part is the last bit that is indoors.
Got 2 of the legendary skins from the event (Mercy and Reaper) and can almost afford a 3rd one. I'll save my money until the last day though, don't wanna buy one I get in a crate later..
The only maps I really don't like are Illios, and the Night Market in Lijiang tower. It's not that I particularly dislike KotH, I don't mind the Garden and Control Centre parts of Lijiang; but I do prefer the hybrid and escort maps. It's probably that those ones are pretty closed in and I just don't like fighting in those tight spaces. I don't leave and requeue when they pop though.
I just got the game a week ago, but I'm level 10 now. Having a lot of fun. I've found I'm really good with Junkrat and also love playing as him. I still haven't tried all the characters, but Junkrat is keeping me entertained for now.
Seems like the overwhelming opinion is that people are insanely triggered by how this Sombra promotion was handled. Ironically it seems like it would have been better if Blizzard had done nothing at all.

The cynic in me believes they deliberately made Hanzo's hit box so ridiculous because he's so popular. He's easy to counter but I've seen some pretty stupid deaths due to him being able to shoot around corners and kill people in one shot. Or just aim blindly and get lucky headshots...something which is much rarer with other heroes.
One shots in general make me feel like this game is just the worst. It's not a skill vs skill battle. The entire skill requirement is on their side. A Window Maker clicks on your head and you're instantly dead. Nothing you could have done to avoid it. All you can do is hope they miss.
Something like Junkrat's bombs though, you see them coming and know, unless you're point black range, you could have paid more attention to avoid their path.
Are you saying snipers shouldn't 1 shot in the head?... Going against the grain of literally every FPS ever made where a headshot with sniper rifle is a kill. This game already gives tanks a lot more HP than headshot dmg can do.
There are things you could've done to avoid it.
1. Notice she was stood there, looking down her scope at your face, and not continued in that direction
2. Stood behind Reinhardt
3. Picked a hero that counters her
4. Strafed and fired back.
And you say all that as if reliable headshot WM's are 10 a penny
On another note, fastest way to love 100 points is not play for 7 days..
There are worse ways to die than from a WM one shot; in fact that for me is probably one of the least frustrating. My issue with Scatter is just the enormous area in front of or at your target you're given to get it, irrespective of what the player is doing to try to avoid it.
Yea and I could give you a counter list to every single one. That would be tiresome though so I'll do it in one word: Zarya.
Stop making out the only deciding factor in this game whether you die in one hit is the enemy player's skill not your own decision making.
The only annoying skill, that isn't a guaranteed 1 shot, but close enough is as Jessicka has pointed out. Scattershot.
Sorry Genn. I have to buy most games on PC now because the hospitals let me bring my computer with me. I don't think they'd appreciate seeing a console hooked up to their little tvs, though I could always try lol. Either way, I'm loving this game. I can't do competitive mode yet, so I can't speak to that, but I'm having a lot of fun so far. I just reached level 11 and got my first legendary skin (Junkenstein's Monster for Roadhog). How is the game on XBone? Do they have keyboard and mouse support or is it all controller? Is there auto aiming to compensate for the controllers?
...I have it on Ps4, XB1, and PC.
