Hell I just want to see a version of the Warcraft I loved pre and even post cata before WoD and Legion hit and this game turned into a mass RNG casino fest.
If I wanted play Diablo I would play Diablo ok blizzard. Thanks Jay Wilson

They have not been "changed greatly". Every road and house are where they always were.
Who cares? You can still receive quest at an !-marked NPC, kill/collect/activate what is needed, and return it to a ?-marked NPC for the reward: experience, gold or selection of items. The dungeon quests are all different and many stories ... are completely different.
And? They are still in the base game.Zul'Gurub and Naxxramas are unavailable in their original formats
The questlines are completely different and half of Northshire has been burned to the ground.
You're being thick. As I said, the original game, the classic version of Azeroth is not available to experience legally.Who cares? You can still receive quest at an !-marked NPC, kill/collect/activate what is needed, and return it to a ?-marked NPC for the reward: experience, gold or selection of items.
The only thing ZG has in common with its original version is the map file. The encounters, NPCs, and story are all completely different. And? They are still in the base game.
Again. You are being intentionally dishonest, or you're stupid. At this point, the difference is moot.
Edit: http://wow.gamepedia.com/Category:Re...n_patch_4.0.3a Here's a comprehensive list of everything from the original Azeroth that was removed in 4.0.3a, which players can no longer experience. Go forth and educate thyself.

Be seeing you guys on Bloodsail Buccaneers NA!
Oh totally, but I'm not sure boiling it down to core aspects is a safe avenue to look at it from; simply because there are lots of games that include those specific things that are very much "not WoW" but heyoo, I was just passing through. I saturated myself with this thread ages ago, so I'll busy myself elsewhere until either Blizzard or Nostalrius come up with a solution

I worry you're being trolled pretty hard right about now...
And you still get to do 8-task quest there and kill a guy, exactly like in Vanilla.
ZG is still populated with bosses, having maybe a couple of siderooms shut off. The content is the same, the pondering over trivial differences is hair-splitting.
Can you at least name 10 non-trivial differences between Vanilla and the current game?
Daily reminder retail turned to shit and legacy servers are our only hope.
Vanilla servers would be the hottest thing for a year.
After that people would start asking for new content in vanilla servers.
Blizzard starts releasing new content for both retail and vanilla.
LoL so many possible funny outcomes that releasing vanilla servers can bring to the game.
Imagine if everyone left retail to the vanilla servers leaving vanilla servers with more players than retail. That would prove that many things are wrong with the game and would bring up a lot of funny questions.
So many things can go wrong. Now i actually want to see it happen lol

Most players during Classic did not raid
*shocking i know*

I would play both Live as Classic
i was a Fury warrior (Casual, i did not raid) back in Classic and only rarely tanked a dungeon. If i were giving the possibility i'd make a warrior again and go full prot

it's funny to read else where what people think. This thread made me hyped even though, I know I shouldn't be.
