Am I missing stuff in the demo? I know about the timed events, I've got that list opened up just to make sure. It seems like I haven't done anything at all. Go to city hall, meet friend, fight skull, do photo mini game, fight Pokémon, fight skull chick, learn to ride tauros, capture mini game, fight three trainers+ace trainer. Is that all?

Talk to the girl near slowpokes, she will get you to a new zone where you get stuff from mystery man.

Also there is some girl that has machamp as her boyfriend mini-evernt.

Did the slowpoke girl, which leads to tauros bashing rocks to the creepy stalker. I'm assuming the girl you're referring to is one of the timed events. I didn't start the demo until a day or two after it's release, so I have to wait a little extra time.

I just wasn't sure if that was all the "main" items for the demo.

Samurot is so trash Why go from a badass 2-feet fighter to a... wannabe beast on all fours that does not even have and use swords in game?

There's still hope you'll be able to change that in settings though except text scrolling speed there hasn't been much one could set up in settings in previous gens. It's a bummer but guess nothing we can do about it...

From Nintendo's perspective, they are still unannounced. Sure, we have known about them for months thanks to leaks, but for vast majority they are supposed to be surprises untill their starter evolves ingame.

I've have also finally gotten around to watching the Pokémon Generations shorts, and I'm rather enjoying them. I had no idea that Silver was Giovanni's son. Was that ever mentioned in-game, at all?

I understand why Archie threw the Blue Orb at Kyogre, since it needs to hold the Orb in order to revert back to its Primal state, but it was still a dumb decision (not that any of us think that Archie is the most intelligent man in the Pokémon universe, I'm sure).
It was a really well animated episode (most of them are), when Archie waves his hand in the rain, the effect of the water crashing against his arm looked great. Kyogre also had a real presence in the episode, as well. Perhaps it was because it is a behemoth of the ocean, but it felt like an unstoppable force.

I do get a chuckle out of some of the dialogue in the episodes such as:
"I happen to be an incredible genius", and "rainbow-coloured shining power", it makes me wonder if there was a Japanese version of each episode, and the dub translated the script as accurately and as literally as possible.

I now eagerly await episode 9 in anticipation of delving into Higana/Zinnia's backstory, with some Rayquaza spotlight.

It was part of a Celebi-related event in Hearth Gold/Soul Silver.

Ok, I need someone to trade me the two starters I will not get at the start of the game when Sun & Moon will launch, because I honestly think that all 3 are awesome, which I don't think has happened before since Gen 1 and perhaps Gen 4, but I did not like them enough to want to have them all at the start then. I really like all 3 A LOT in this gen.

Anyone that perhaps plans on having all 3 starters on their team as well?
