Well other option is using normal trade. (if it works same as 6) Maybe x/y and oras will get a update that allows you to do this.

Worst case scenario--- get 2 games, capture some crap pokemon with 1.st starter, trow them on gts asking for starter. Then trow in other card, do a *quest* 2 times and trade pokemon via gts.

This is if gts will be up at start of the game.

Or simply have a friend that wants the 3 starters as well and trade over the internet with them until you both have all 3 of them.

So, I've been thinking about the starters 'secret'. I was looking at the starter's secondary typings and noticed that they all have some connection to night and the moon. Fairy draws power from the moon, Dark type has a strong connection to nighttime (Umbreon, Weavile evolving at night with a Razor Claw, Murkrow evolving with a dusk stone, Rattata and Raticate became dark types after adapting to a nocturnal lifestyle), and Ghosts are considerred at their strongest during the Witching hour (3-4am traditionally, but in modern times between 12am and 2am) and are also associated with night time and darkness.

So what if the theory about split evolutions is actually true? Like people have mentioned, their secret being signature moves feels a lackluster as other starters have had signature moves too.

nope in switzerland but i'm using my old 3ds to buy the game on the australian eshop. I will pick the physical copy of the game (sun) the 23rd.

I totally forgot Pokemon was coming out that soon. Looks like November is my hobby month to spend money on. I need to beat Bravely Second before Pokemon comes out.

I'm assuming you're talking about the current "second chance" Darkrai event that ends the 31st? Arceus, at least in the US was the Gamestop code for August. The next 20th anniversary code is for Genesect from Gamestop starting on the 1st of November. Then apparently there is a Munchlax for Sun/Moon, and then to end the 20th in December we get Meloetta.
