What if We introduced Bears to the Outback?

Everything in Australia wants to kill you, right?

Crocdiles are the king of Aussies rights now.

But what if we introduced Grizzly Bears to the outback? Would Bears be able to dethrone them? Would Bears be able to tame the Aussie Outback?

That's why first you genetically engineer them into this:

    No more overheating problems.

bears wouldn't handle the heat. they also would be dealing with more venomous snakes than they have to deal with here.

worst snake that can bite a bear in the americas is usually a rattlesnake. maybe a coral snake, but i doubt bears get bitten by them much. the common brown dwarfs them in terms of venom.

also, why would you need to unseat crocodiles anyway? they're the natural top dog, it's right that they are the top predator. they don't need to be unseated.

The bears would get wiped out by the drop bears, everybody knows that.

They do. They've grown arrogant in their throne.

We need Bears to bring them back down to Earth. Kind of like how we need someone to bring the New ENgland Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Golden State Warriors back down to earth after being at the top.

    It's about maintaining a balance.

There's a difference between Desert hot and dry, and Mountainous Forest Region hot and humid.

Grizzlies spend most of their time in relative coolness, either by a river fishing, in their cave sleeping or foraging for nuts, berries and assorted animals to brutally maim and eat.

I was always under the impression that if i I wanted to see bears, go to nearby rivers.

Hydration is very important for bears.

Do you want poisonous bears? Because that's how you make them. I think a bear could wrestle a croc if it saw the croc first.

    This is true.

    I think it's Black Bears.

Actually, your avatar got me thinking whether or not a Bear could hold its own with a gorilla.

Right, OP did say grizzly bears. Grizzly vs Silverback would be a legit fight.
