Mini Holidays Whats the point?

Mini Holidays have no pet, mount, achievement, gear, toy, or transmog rewards.

So....why do them?

I like the idea of new holidays but without rewards why bother?

When Blizzard adds something new to the game, people will still moan. Jesus Christ. The Micro holidays are just a little fun thing to do. If you don't find them fun then there is no reason for you to do them. If there was a mount involved then people will moan that they don't want to do it but they want the rewards, don't have time or something else. this way they're not missing anything cosmetic. Just the fun factor.

Good thing is they are entirely optional which means you do't have to do it. They are just there to make the world feel like it has something going on.

Fun. Games are supposed to have elements that are fun. If all you care about are rewards, then that's fine. Don't bother. They even said pretty much exactly that. The new holidays are about fun but no one needs to feel like they missed out on anything if they didn't do anything with them.

...you can say that of anything in the game? fun is relative, if you don't find it fun, don't participate, some people just find hanging around in the main city of an expansion and spamming trade chat 'fun'. Then why not make content that has reason to it! that has meaning behind it! You people will defend anything blizzard force feeds down u, and act like its the word of god...

You cry at people for moaning at anything, yet ur defend anything and every thing blizzard does like u think they can't do wrong... this was why WOD happen. and as much as Legion shows lot of content coming out! Is it content people want to do? and will it last long term and short term? Short answer no!

If blizzard makes these content events that last 2 days a year and have no reward people will just ignore them and keep grinding out AF Power and honor, making all this time in making content pointless, and could have been used better spent on other things... But again fanboys don't care about the game just defending anything thinking blizzard might reward them...

They never said no achievements, gear, toys or transmog rewards. They just said no battle pets and no mounts. Toys will be there as you will get that little pet that sits on your shoulder.
