Question about stat weight for Frost DK

Hey, recently I've come to an dead end optimizing my gear.
    Im currently sitting at:

    Crit : 28.01%
    Haste : 15.82%
    Versa : 3.56%
    Mastery : 29.38%

I have some rings to change cause I'm offspec tank in my guild (especially for Ilgynoth). I was simcrafting myself over and over again trying different rings/trinkets etc. and came to some weird spot. I've made myself stat weights for pawn like I usually did after some upgrades to my gear and saw that there is something weird about them.
Right now they look like this:
    ( Pawn: v1: "Koobas": Strength=10.73, CritRating=7.49, HasteRating=9.60, MasteryRating=8.39, Versatility=8.55 )

And here comes something weird. I've imported that to my pawn addon and it showed me that my 2 rings aren't the best ones I have, so I've changed them with 'better' ones, it was like 17% and 11% upgrade. Simcrafted myself again and guess what? It was like 5k dps loss for me.
So here is my question, what is wrong, simcraft or pawn ?

I can't link my armory because of post numbers but here are my simcraft strings:

Pawn is wrong. Pawn uses generalised stat weights generated for elsewhere, right now frost's fluctuate heavily based on gear you have to go into pawn and manually set it to yours.

I'm running with 15% haste, 30% crit, 3-4% versa and 34~ mastery. Ultimate is 20 haste, 25-30 crit, 8 versa and rest mastery. Weird part is I do plenty of more damage with lower haste (15) than with 20. I can handle my FP alot better and I do roughly 400k ST with this current build. My armory is Saynthebeast - Tarren-mill. I'm not sure that haste is that important above 15--18%. You get enough attackspeed from talents and I rather increase the base damage than getting an extra hit that hits weak.

Not everyone gets a free 15% mastery buff for 41% of the fight, haste is relatively more important for those of us who still rely on Obliterate for more then something to burn runes.

Not really sure what you're trying to say here, but if you're implying that Obliterate is needed more at lower levels of haste that's completely incorrect. If anything, it becomes more important to OB at higher haste in order to keep Frozen Pulse going (since you have shorter rune recharge), which potentially shifts some of your damage away from Frost Strike if you get "lucky" with RE. Running slightly lower haste (I'm hovering between 15% and 17%) and increasing mastery helps increase the majority of your damage without negatively impacting your ability to manage FP (in my experience).

    Nailed it.

I was pointing out that the poster I was quoting has the whiteout bindings and ergo haste is relatively more devalued for him.
