Ion Hazzikostas said they couldnt say anything about 7.3 without spoiling 7.2, so its probably not going to be straight forward.
I dont think it will be "just" killing Sargeras and destroying Argus/Legion. I feel a plot twist lurking in the dark.

Again, this is in no way unique to us.
Wrong, we are slowly losing. It's about attrition. This is how the Legion functions, it attacks again and again and again until they win.
Illidan himself has stated that if we keep defending we WILL lose and right now we ARE losing. It's only thanks to Illidan and the demon hunters that we've done any kind of lasting impact on the Legion. They are our key to LASTING victory.
In the Chronicles Vol 1 it's stated that more worlds than ours have resisted successfully several times but in the end fall because the Legion keeps stepping up their game each time they come back. Again, it's a war of attrition and one we cannot win if we only defend. We have not been winning, our victories are fleeting and meaningless. All greater demons we face say this as well.we might kill them once, twice, thrice, but we can't kill them forever. Eventually more and more force is applied until the defenders crumble to the literally endless armies of the Legion.
This is the entire basis for their threat. This is why they're so strong. This is why it's so extremely important that we take the fight TO THEM. That's the ONLY way to get lasting victory. THAT is what nobody else has managed but us.

A lot of evidence point to ththe pillars being what unwittingly unlocks Nzoths prison. Perhaps us using them, will mean Nzoth not only breaks free, but also...well, takes control over demons? Or maybe Sargeras himself. Anything is possible!

Sargeras became more powerful after absorbing Fel.
Plot twist, Sargeras is redeemed and helps us fight against the void gods after Azeroth falls.
We'll probably fight him, but fighting doesn't mean killing - just look at the Odyn fight.
Wow is very similar to Halo
THink of the covenant as the Burning Legion Archimonde, KJ and Sargeras are the manipulative Oracles.
Mannoroth is Tartarus who gets his shit pushed in
The Arbider and the Elites under him are illidan and the Illidari
and the Flood as the Old Gods as the overmind and the faceless are the flood.
Khadgar is Johnson
and the players are spartans

How does the fact that she would have summoned to to the planet's location, and not onto the planet itself, makes him "not that big"? It's true that he might have the ability to alter his size but I wouldn't take the he wasn't gonna arrive on the planet but close to it as prove that he can.
And avatar is the not his real body, and oly contained a fragtion of his powers, you can't judge the size on someone based on how big they chooses to make their containers.Or the fact that his "avatars and just 30 foot giants
Not true, seeing as he can be seen from anywhere on the planet due to his size, he doesn't "need" to, besides, since he can communicate other distances, including through portals, he has no need to change size or be on the planets himself.Sargeras can change his size when he need sto interact with the little people.

We still havn't seen actual evidence of that!
The whole argus thing could also mean we just get empowered by some titan constructs, us growing in size is not new thanks to magic. After all we are the chosen ones with super shiny weapons. But the whole world cleaving thing should probably not be taken too literal.. maybe a small world, something like a former planet Pluto .
Silly silly Azerothians. We're not going to fight Sargeras as our measley rogue and demon hunter selves. We are going to become avatars of Chris Metzen and pierce Sargeras' ears.
Don't forget about Green Jesus
thats fucking awesome i never saw that one but we know the old gods warred with eachother.
i guess the one the consumes Azeroth becomes the Dark Titan?
if thats the case that may make the old gods literal Avatars of the Void Lords.

I see your badass quote and I raise you a
BOOMXal'atath whispers: The God of the Deep writhes in his prison, breaking free ever so slowly. You should hurry and defeat the fallen titan... there are greater battles yet to fight.
*jazz hands*
Sargeras dies 7.3 N'zoth 8.0 confirmed
Sargeras can die in any form, be it his Avatar or Medihv's body. And yes, Sargeras was actually considered dead, up until recent recton, which is only because dead demons go to the nether and come back...

I know he did that with the Nethrezim's world, but idk about Argus. We're not the only ones going, the Draenei are prepping their ship aswell, so unless we all are attacking and then leaving... some people are gonna end up dying in the blast.
personally, i dont want Argus to ever be destroyed. It could always be used later in another game, just like a lot of things we go to in WoW are from the RTS.
N'zoth is the Void Lords last chance to take Azeroth(that we know of), but I believe and a few others Im sure will agree with me, is that another Titan will appear later. Azeroth a titan of light vs a Dark Titan born of shadow. There's nothing out there saying that Azeroth is the last Titan, the cosmos is massive and all the titans working together never even scratched the surface of it.N'zoth is the Void Lords last chance to finish their work they can't do anything without them there to work as their avatars. The would hurl more towards Azeroth and return eventually but just like we went to Argus we would seek the Void.
Going to the void, I dont we'll ever go there. It's a realm that is supposed to represent the true unimaginable and to see it would be impossible to even put in a game.
What is N'zoth kind of looks like an Octopus like Ozumat
What if N'zoth is a much LARGER version of those mindbenders facesuckers we saw during Cataclysm and he attaches himself to Sargeras and take absolute control of the Titan
of course it would be two of azsharas dream boys mixed together so could be interesting.
I think N'zoth will be the most powerful enemy we will face. In most cases titans were not able to beat an old god by 1 by 1 and n'zoth is the most powerful of all the old gods from azeroth. Yogg'saron and C'thun were not on full strength, y'saarj was just a piece of bowel, but n'zoth will possibly on full power. Even sargeras with his full fel-enhancement should not be able to beat an enpowered n'zoth 1 by 1.
Sargeras itself looks like a pupet of the void as well. His role isnt clearly spoken. He or rather the legion is in cooperation with azshara, which is a servant of n'zoth.
If we have killed all the demons and the last remaining demon commander in this xpack, there is only one way left for sargeras to be able to appear in our dimension: azshara.
First I ever heard that one. You sure?
All I heard is that he lost faith in his kind when they insisted on saving old-god-infested world souls instead of destroying them to make sure.
He then left the pantheon, and stormed off to shatter the demons' prison on mardum, which he had made himself. Upon doing so, the resulting fel exploision transformed him.

Uuuuhm, no and no?
from wowpedia:
Though the titan-forged were successful in defeating and imprisoning the Elemental Lords, the titans realized that Y'Shaarj would prove too great a challenge for them; as the titan-forged approached the temple city that lay at the heart of the Black Empire, Y'Shaarj twisted their thoughts and drew out their darkest emotions. Thus, Aman'Thul, the Highfather himself, reached down through Azeroth's skies and heaved the Old God from the surface of the world. In that moment, the massive bulk of the Old One was ripped apart, and its deathrattle caused entire mountains to shatter and hundreds of titan-forged to be instantly obliterated where they stood.Y'shaarj was the strongest of the four, and to Aman'thul, the pantheons eldest, he was nothing more than a leech to be plucket. of the planet's face.Y'Shaarj was the most powerful of the four Old Gods to plummet into Azeroth from the Great Dark Beyond, and the greatest bastion of the Black Empire was built around its gargantuan bulk.
The problem was that the wound that was caused to the world(soul) was to enourmous, so they imprisoned the other three after realising that.
Again, completely false. The whole point behind Sargeras' betrayal of the pantheon and the creation of the burning legion is to destroy all world-souls, in order to prevent them being corrupted by old gods and maturing into a dark abomination which would mean the end of the pantheon. Ironically, he caused the latter himself by killing the other titans, but his goal would still be unchanged: Destroy everything, so that the void lords have nothing to use to cross over from the void realm to the great dark beyond (the material universe).Sargeras itself looks like a pupet of the void as well.
As a servant of the old gods (azshara), they would be enemies. Also, the way sargeras was close to be summoned was by drawing directly from the life force of the planet itself (another titan's) => the well of eternity. With that gone, as well as with the ToS controlled/destroyed by the enemy, I dont think there is much azshara could do (even if she wanted), to summon Sargeras. If we have killed all the demons and the last remaining demon commander in this xpack, there is only one way left for sargeras to be able to appear in our dimension: azshara.
And again: Sargeras wants to destroy our world, not pay a visit. If he can accomplish it through any way at all, he'd be happy.
And destroying the world means making enemies of all that inhabit it, right? Including azshara/the old gods.
