Dogmatism of any form. For every view point you should be able to sensibly and genuinely answer the question what would it take to convince you of X? One common question would be what would it take for you to believe in God? If your answer is nothing you fit into the dogma category just as a priest who cannot be convinced there isn't a god.

Most people don't have eyes that look like vertical lines. They tend to be rounder, like dots in a colon. And how do you make a winky face without using a semi-colon? Pretty sure you're the one doing it wrong.

Its just how I started. Back when I was kid playing WoW was the first time I encountered symbols and faces made by text, and the majority I saw used =). Since online communication is where all text communication started, I consider the =) to be the pure, uncorrupted form that has been bastardized by the infernal colon.

hate isn't to strong a term as people make it out to be, LOATH is a strong form of hate. there are others, dislike is a very mind form of hate.

first impressions DO count for a lot. but usually overcome because even if i initially dislike - to the point of hate someone(say they're looking at me with rape eyes) they can overcome it with their actions and how they treat me and people around me after that first second, but it'd still be there hovering in the back of my mind.
