Blizzard is taking the kid's toys away, and they react like kids. No surprise there.
Take a break from politics once in awhile, it's good for you.
........so? It was still removed for no real reason if you think about it like why even remove it bar ganebreakibg glitches.
It is about options and blizz certainly does not support that

That is related to ratings often and can be reused art asset wise later.
Pvp and pve are very different things but overall the removal of things like quests really is silly
except they never do, there is tons of armor sets gone, that will never be added, same with mounts
all these mounts, and every season a new set for every class becomes impossible to get, they used to just be recolours, but now its complete armor sets
an amazing set, nothing like it, all and its gone forever
I think we'll probably have to sacrifice the power of our artifact in order to beat sargeras or w.e and then the weapon will become just a shell of its former power (aka still artifact ilvl 750 beginning but no traits or relics inside it). So you will still have ashbringer but it won't be top tier ilvl in next expansion.
If we go to Argus in the next expansion, they'll have a legitimate lore reason to ditch the artifacts. We'll be picking up demon forged weapons from Argus itself which are much stronger than anything on Azeroth, even the relics...
My bet is we'll have to sacrifice our artifact weapons to unleash the power we've been collecting throughout the entire expansion to stop the legion somehow. Lore-wise they're destroyed, and now we're free to pick up a nice shiny heirloom weapon off the last raid boss in Legion that will scale up with us til cap next expansion. Then we'll potentially go back to the traditional weapon system. Mechanic-wise all the effects from the artifact will stop functioning at 111.
I feel like the bigger issue here, at least to me, isn't that we're losing Ashbringer as a player, but that it implies in a way that such a big lore weapon is being destroyed too.
Which like, for most classes isn't too big of a deal since they were kinda just made up for Legion and given lore behind them, but Ashbringer is something that's been around for a really long time, it feels weird to just think it's going to be gone now.
