Trump and dictator Putin US-Russia relations' phone call, BB Ukraine

Trump is “very much looking forward to having a strong and enduring relationship with Russia and the people of Russia”, Russian state-media reported.

After the US (and the UK, France and China) betrayed Ukraine after the Russian annexation of the Crimea the Ukraine most likely will be sacrificed completely by the USA.

Under diplomatic pressure from Moscow and Washington, Ukraine turned over all of its nuclear weapons to Russia after signing the Lisbon Protocol in 1992, which obligated ex-Soviet countries to surrender their arsenals. But it didn’t turn them over immediately. In Kyiv, there was already then suspicion that the northeastern neighbor could one day seek to exploit the defenselessness of “Little Russia,” as Russian nationalists often refer to Ukraine. After delaying the protocol’s ratification for several months, Ukraine was assured of its territorial integrity, national borders, and political sovereignty by all five permanent members of the Security Council in December 1994, at a summit in Budapest for the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe (now the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe). Three of the five (Russia, the US, and the UK) did so in a multilateral document signed with Ukraine; two (China and France) issued unilateral declarations of their governments. The five countries’ assurances, as well as promises of help against future foreign political and economic pressure in the Budapest Memorandum, convinced Ukraine to relinquish its remaining weapons of mass destruction.

Russia has asked US to withdraw all troops from countries that border Russia. Right now Trump and Pence are wrestling and depending on who wins, we will stay or withdraw.

Putin has probably already approved of all plans he has had for his new soviet empire, after Trumps victory.

It is Europe's backyard, it's their issue. We put Trump in because Putin-Russia is not the enemy, there are bigger issues like deporting illegal criminals.

Ukraine has no defense treaties with the EU to my knowledge.

America however promised to protect it in return for Nuclear Disarment.

Every new US president says that they want a "strong and enduring relationship with Russia". Reality quickly corrects their plans.

Under which stone have you've been living the past decade? Did you miss all the opponents of Putin being assassinated, decimating all possible opposition, and the objective reports of election fraud? Do you understand what that implicates???

The USA made a promise in the past by signing a treaty. All we have is each others word in international diplomacy. When one becomes untrustworthy it will reflect on that country since nobody will trust you anymore making other theaties worthless. And that will destabilize the planet.

They need to get a treaty then. If Germany can afford to take in millions of refugees they can afford to protect Ukraine.

Nobody in the US cares about foreign stuff except the foreign office guys, Trump will let the foreign service run foreign affairs like they've been doing since WWII.

You do understand that the EU and US economies are tied together like nothing else? Destabilising the EU will reflect massively on the US economy, and vice versa. Thats why we in the EU are deeply concerned about the current US developments. Burying your head in the sand (like an ostrich) many Trump-supporters do will not change that.

Then Europe should stabilize their backyard. The US shouldn't be your local problem resolver.

Did they sign a treaty promising to guard it in return for nuclear Disarment? (Budapest Memorandum) Hmm lets see signatories are the US, the 51st state and Ukraine, Russia.

I'm pretty sure it's by the same people in the Pentagon who have been briefing presidents since the days of McCarthy.
This cold war mentality never left because some of the top advisors never did.

Then we should stop signing treaties that say we are the local problem resolver. That is kind of the issue, it is like breaking a contract. I know, you obviously don't care about that, but we signed these treaties to stop the nuclear arms race that the soviet block countries were engaging in after the fall. You know so we don't have a nuclear war that will clearly affect you and your day to day. Like deporting those illegal criminals....since you know Obama hasn't been doing that, oh wait he deported more people than all other president's combined. Turns out mass deportation is a little more logistically heavy than you might think.
