There are more demons than those in the Legion.

Except their whole goal is to fight the legion, not actually demons. Even if their name say so.

Demon hunters work with a lot of demons on their side.

But I'm sure the DH campain will have a final cinematic at the end of Legion with Illidan saying something like "The legion was only the beginning my people ! Now follow into the real war, against the one who made the legion a thing, the war against the shadow !" or something like this.

DH truely follow Illidan, and Illidan's destiny is greater than just ending the legion as learned in this expansion.

Demon Hunters exist for the sole purpose of eliminating the Legion. After the Legion is wiped out... what will they do? Is there another goal for them?

The Death Knights did not lose purpose when Arthas was slain; as there is still a Lich King and there must always be. Thus they became the wardens of the scourge. (What they inevitably decided to do with that post is a different matter...lol)

When the legion is removed, I imagine there will not be a new legion to control or watch over; as their eradication is our goal. We've spent our lives hunting the legion. Using their own power against them; to remove them as a threat; at any imaginable cost to ourselves, our loved ones, our people, or our own souls. I imagine we will study the void, and learn to use THAT power next, against the old gods and their void lord masters.

My demon huntress, who used to be quite the tomboy before she "sacrificed everything", hunted a hatchling of each of the felcasaurous type (or whatever they are called) because she thought they are cute. She put them all in a carton box to raise them together in her sister's leased apartment in Dalaran, and even named them - Rappsu, Bob, Ted, and Lolo.

When her sister (my paladin) returned from her latest tour of duty, she lost her shit at the sight and asked my demon huntress to get rid of them. My demon huntress made puppy (fel) eyes and said: "But they're so darn cute, sis...!"

My paladin, the older sister, ended up taking a tranquilizer and heading to bed in despair, while my demon huntress, the younger sister continues to play with the hatchlings.

Can't speak for all of the Illidari, but my demon huntress will settle back with her father and sister, or at least somewhere in Silvermoon due to her sense of duty.

Oh. She has only been absent since TBC; that's when she joined the Illidari (originally used to be my rogue), and she already was united with her family. I am RPing her as a very light hearted individual that is exceptionally aware of their new nature. On paper you might think this is cringe worthy, but in practice it's very fun and simply light hearted.

But yes, she is hilarious and my friends always get a kick of RPing with her. I had her retain many of her old nature's characteristics, in addition to the one gained naturally by being what she is now.

Oh, and my other post about the hatchlings? We RP'd that in text me and my friend and it was hilarious. Of course not canon, but web comic like.
