Would say Scotland in a heartbeat if they would secede. Doesn't matter that the economy is rather poor, people are super friendly and the landscape is amazing.

I live in the USA. If I were forced to live somewhere else, I'd probably pick ... Japan.

I'd pick a first world English speaking country so I wouldn't have to learn another language. Probably Ireland, the UK, Australia, or New Zealand.

I wouldn't pick Canada because I've already been there. I'd like to go somewhere new.

Japan would suck because everyone would expect you to work 60+ hours a week.

I think the USA is the best country to live in. That doesn't mean I'm idealizing it. I also think Australia would be a great place to live, and I've actually been there. Japan seems nice to me, but I'm certainly not idealizing it. I'm aware of some of its flaws.

I don't think Japan is a paradise, I can acknowledge it has problems like any other country. I think the USA is arguably the best country to live in. That is, arguably. Because again, I'm not idealizing it. I can acknowledge its flaws.

So please, stop throwing around the term "weeb", because you clearly don't understand what it means. And apparently, you don't know what idealizing means either, because you're accusing me of doing it, and I'm clearly not.

By what merit?

Workers rights? Nearly nonexistant.
Healthcare? Ridiculously expensive when it has married with insurance companies. Not to mention the amount of banktrupsies it causes.
Education? Even that is monetized into very expensive, and is very lacking.
Social safety nets? Nearly nonexistant, because "evil communism"

So what was so great again? Unless you are part of the upper middle class, or higher?
