Furthermore, I'm not saying he is a perfect person. I'm not even saying he is a good person, although he is, of course, a "good guy". What I'm saying is that he is a good character.

But he really isn't. He lacks any farm of unique or impactful role/personality and mostly just quotes 2nd ED paladin guidebook. He is like obi wan kenobi played by "guy who first time plays D&D and randomly picked paladin".

I am actually very fond of Uther. I just REALLY REALLY don't think he should be the Champion, neither in S1 of the Days game nor now in this game.

It's why I want a new character to win because that character will be elevated to rank 1 above Uther.

In general, I agree, but I don't hold that against Blizzard to be honest. As long as I like the character, I don't mind them being not complex.

Most people who does think they are some sort of critics that can write better characters and keep them consistent while in reality they work minimum wage at McDonald's. :V

And with most blizzard is at least trying. Maarad and tirion both have backstories and both have moments when it mattered that THEY and not some random paladin was there. Uther is personification of his class description. Its like saying that in book with 3000 pages, the store clerk who appeared on one page and said "that will be 4.99$" is the most interesting character because he sells stuff.
