PSA: Darksiders Warmastered Edition came out for PC today (and on sale)

The Warmastered (remastered) Edition of the first Darksiders came out today. If you liked the original you should go pick this up from Steam or Gog. Both have it on sale for £4/$5.

I just got mine from GoG, and it looks like they've included the original version as well, plus the soundtrack and comic etc.

Haven't played it yet, but I'm hoping it doesn't end up being full of bugs like the Deathinitive edition of the sequel did..

To renew the interest in the Darksiders series.

THQ Nordic (Formally known as Nordic) owns this IP among many many others. Its a easy quick buck and also tests the waters to see how interested people are in the series.

It did, but all PC versions were heavily bugged for a long time (they finally fixed all the missing textures 2 weeks ago).

I must admit i agree completely with this. Second chapter was definitely worse in some aspects (liek the whole rpg-ey thing about equips and talents that imho are way over the top for an action/adventure game like this).

Darksiders is the perfect mix between God of War and Zelda games. Nice to have the warmastered edition for free, i'll download it and play it for nostalgia.

I'd really like to see more interest around the serie since the story it's been elft unfinished and i'd really like to see how it will go on. And i need to play Strife/Famine XD

You can get the Darksiders 2 remaster for free too if you had all the DLC. You gotta log in to your Steam account through this page, though.
