Will Vol'jin be coming back? Sure he was cremated but that doesn't necessarily rule out his rebirth in some way, even becoming a loa. Perhaps Sylvanas will sacrifice herself or her last val'kyr to bring him back?

He'd have to be a Loa. Trolls cremate their dead for the reason of avoiding Necromancers which the Darkspear probably consider Sylvanas and her Val'kyr to be.

VJ told her to not let the Horde die that day, so she called for the Horde retreat and got VJ the fuck out of there. Given total Azerothian annihilation vs the unified armies being able to escape for a final confrontation, I think she'd make that sacrifice.

I personally would say fuck it, and fuck them. It's Blizz though, she won't be a villain.

I believe Vol'jin's story isn't quite done - although I doubt he'll return to the story completely. A flashback or some form of spirit is a possible outcome, but I think he definitely dead either way one goes.
