I actually like Trudeau, at least more than I did Harper. But he has yet to legalize marijuana. Meanwhile, he's taking selfies with everybody he cross.
    Yeah agreed.

Bolded: he strikes me as the type of guy who is spending his time in office banging 20 year olds. No, I have no evidence beyond, "he acts like a dude who would do such a thing".

Because they were? I explained this in another thread. Relationship between Canada and Cuba during the embargo was actually pretty solid. It was a prime destination for vacation and no American to ruin it! But on the more serious note, Justin's father was a lawyer like Castro. Apparently when they first met they stayed up talking over 3 days without sleep. They differed on so many things, but still became friends. P.E Trudeau was the man to make homosexual marriage legal in Canada, which is in direct opposition to someone like Castro. It did not stop them from being personal friends. Castro flew to Canada for the entire funeral. Im not sure why anyone would think Justin would say anything bad about Castro, aside from stating the obvious, that he was a dictator.

Castro was one of the worst dictator in modern time. He himself enforced strong censorship on his people, exiling more than a fifth of his country and publicly executing people without due process on public places.

As for Trump, well he's not in office yet, so let's not cry wolf too soon.

Fear mongering to elicit money.... I am completely shocked a company would do this. One-percenters asking for a hand out.
People working 2 jobs in the US (at least one part-time) - 7.8 Million (Roughly 4.9% of the workforce)

People working 2 full-time jobs in the US - 360,000 (0.2% of the workforce)

Average time worked weekly by the US Workforce - 34.5 hours

His ratings are very high. Most Canadians are pleased with how he is running the country.

You don't need to tell me, I am aware of that. The thing is though, apparently Trudeau has a different idea of what Castro was like. It is ignorant, but I think it is forgivable, given how many people are mistaken about Cuba.

There is a difference between ignorance on one particular subject (as is the case with Trudeau), and ignorance about everything related to your upcoming job (Trump), mixed with inability to take any criticism without wanting to silence the critic.

I am not an overly big fan of Trudeau, don't get me wrong: I think he sends the right message, but he isn't very competent when it comes to the state management; he is somewhat naive and idealistic. However, I would take him over Trump any time. Trudeau resembles Billy Clinton quite a bit, actually. Trump is more like Mugabe or something.

He is significantly more popular than her or just about any world leader.
There's always going to be a vocal minority who wants to bash the person in power.

I don't know enough about his policies to bash him, but he acts like a certain type of person and that type of person is one that likes to get as much pussy as possible.

If you find out about his affair with an intern or some young reporter in two years, I called it here first.

If they archive the whole of the internet aren't they guilty of possession of child porn?

He looks like a hippie guy with Italian charm. Somewhat like a more civilized version of Berlusconi.

I personally dont think he looks like that. He always comes off as a nice husband and good father to his kids. I guess he does come out as young and playful, but thats because he is relatively young for a politician, you are just reading too much into it. He is also a French Canadian, hes pretty standard honestly.

Yeah these kind of historical archives should already be stored in at least one country per continent to begin with. Best chance that at least one of them stays up for a long while. People are laughing about it now, but in 200 years, archive like this are invaluable. People used to laugh at many scribes in the past too. Im pretty sure we are glad they worked for future generations benefit. This is what makes human better, we transfer knowledge of the past.

He was heavily biased by the fact his father (PET) knew Castro personally.

Even the biggest assholes are loved by their friends and family, its how humans work.

What do you mean? As far as am aware the bill for any kind of internet censorship was struck down quickly in Canada. Media's are free of political interest mostly. Issuing death threats are not legal in most countries, including the US? Free speech is about the government vs you. Other citizens can always challenge your speech, thats their part of freedom.

Hell just recently the court is still refusing video radar evidence in court until it gets to appeal later. Meaning Canadians can only be persecuted by the police if a live witness or a police officer himself can corroborate the infraction.
