Well it turns out Beijing didn't blame Trump for his inexperience on this and was not pissed as the title of this thread shown
Both Washington and Beijing successfully stopped anything worse from happening

Yeah, the State Department seems to have papered it over, though the Chinese were angered. Can't wait until it happens again with Trump's people at State.

Don't worry about China. They'd loose in a war vs the US.

Lol. For the first time in a while I'm glad Trump is our president. China won't do jackshit.

Can we pre-emptively impeach Trump? Screw Pence's domestic policies, Id rather avoid issues with China and I think Pence would avoid issues with China.

Why should we only worry about wars we would lose?

While I hate Trump as much as the next (sensible) person does, so what? Why are other countries allowed to insult, rant, and/or rave about the United States or other nations that they are jealous or intimidated by (or whatever their fucking beef is), but those nations can't do the same in return?

I find it just as absurd as when the American government typically provides gourmet meals native to their guest's nation (which is just fucking stupid; why would they want to sample your shitty take on their cuisine?) when they come to visit the United States, but when an American official goes overseas they typically get gourmet means native to their host's nation (which makes far more sense).

It's some weird self-hating thing. America is the straight Caucasian male of nations, apparently. They apparently have no culture of their own, but only because everyone around the globe is familiar with it and are too oblivious to realize that.

Republicans impeaching a Republican? I like your optimism.

What the president says matters. He's the single most powerful person on earth. Are we just supposed to assume he's kidding when he threatens trade wars?

You don't understand that this is a display of America's place in the world?

1.) No, he didn't threaten any trade war. Someone taking something as an insult, intended (as is the case here) or otherwise, is not a threat. Asking if they talked to us before enacting a bunch of bitchy policies is not threatening war. Threatening a war is saying something more along the lines of "cease these activities or you WILL suffer the consequences."

2.) You clearly missed what I said. Leaders of *any* nation with nuclear weapons are powerful people. Yet for some mysterious reason, *they're* allowed to say or do whatever they want without consequence. You know, like the things Trump actually brought up. But if an American leader just says something negative about any of it, DEAR GOD THE WORLD IS ENDING, AHHHHHH, POLITICAL DISASTER! HIT THE BOMB SHELTERS NAOW!!!!

You don't understand that this is a display of America's place in the world?
That response doesn't make any sense in relation to what you quoted. Or are you saying it's the United States place to cowtow and be submissive to everyone else on the planet?

What he's talking about doing will lead to a trade war. I can understand some kid on the internet not getting that, but Trump shouldn't.

We're Americans talking about what our President Elect is saying. The standards other leaders are or aren't held to is irrelevant.

We cook meals from visiting nations and eat meals from theirs when we visit because we're the top. Its a displace of humility that only works when both sides know you've got all the power. Its our way of looking thoughtful while also in command. And it has shit all to do with Trump's reckless words.

Surprise surprise. The thin skinned narcissist-in-waiting can't let things lie. It has to always be about him, and any criticism always results in him lashing out as a result.

So now even though the powers that be have successfully papered over his idiotic call to Taiwan, he decides to open his mouth and start spouting diarrhea again.

And US governmental officials routinely say horrible or warmongering things about other countries.

Hahah what?? Care to provide some examples? (Also heads-up, you probably meant to say the UK since England doesn't have it's own leader).
