I'm perfectly down to talk about the actual event but from the start people were already talking about the credibility of the articles posted, whataboutism, and now the actual conspiracy nuts coming in and saying this pizzagate shit has any sort of merit.

podesta's emails from WIKILEAKS. wikileaks has always been mostly reliable.

the way they talk about the supposed food items is just weird and irregular. no normal person talks in that way.

You failed my hard mode. The "cheese pizza" thing is a meme from 4chan.

So you want to bust down the doors of people over "weird and irregular" talking? Are you a fascist?

i'm possibly a minor fascist, people can't be trusted.

i firmly believe a normal, non-"elite" person would be investigated over this stuff.

I don't think pinning the whole Pizzagate on the right is fair for anyone.

It's a conspiracy theory, believed by a closed group of people.

Well, to play devil's advocate, once upon a time the left were sinners with ties to the devil. Different time, different ideologies, I guess. Doesn't excuse any of them.

The majority of those individuals happen to be in the right. If the right doesn't want to be associated with it, they should condemn them. Thankfully lots of sane right wing news outlets and conservatives have done it. So stop trying to excuse these individuals by saying the left has conspiracies as well.

    Take for example this guy.

I posted from CNN and washingtonpost.

Breitbart isn't reporting on it and the only fox news I could find were local fox news channels.

Lol people around these parts think NPR is left leaning because they fact check everything Trump and his goons say.

But yes that's where I first heard about this on my morning commute.

Oh, you should see my tabs...

Anyway, I'm going to make a mod statement here.

We're starting to see some discussion about actual conspiracy theories. Yes, this is a thread about a shooting that occurred because of a conspiracy theory, so it can't be completely avoided, but keep in mind that discussing any conspiracy theory is a forbidden topic. No "false flag" discussions, and no discussions about "pizzagate" other than what's pertinent to the shooting, please.

I cannot. A majority from the right adhere to this because it was born out of a movement bashing on Hillary. Likewise, a majority of people buying into the Russia's scam are Hillary's supporter. But that's not limited to these groups of people.

Most sane people, from both the left and the right, detach themselves from these movements. I'm on the left and I don't believe Russia's responsible for Trump's win. I don't believe in Pizzagate either. I do believe Hillary is corrupted and is neck-deep in corruption. I do believe Trump's guilty of that too.

Also that guy isn't exactly wrong. Some far-left people were almost repidating with joy when the fires happened. I can't help but get flashbacks of far-right evangelists who trepidated with joy when a natural disaster happened in pro-homosexual countries.

EDIT: Didn't see mod statement before my post.

So, why can't we call bullshit on this obvious bullshit?
