In the film's current script, Schumer plays a Barbie that quickly realizes she doesn't fit inside a Barbie world and is shunned from the community for being different.

Didn't Matell already try making more normal sized and proportion Barbies, and they didn't really sell as well as the original. Sort of like black Barbies didn't sell as well as white Barbie. Also one would think that Schumer is a bit to controversial for Matell. Isn't Schumers appeal more for girls and young women that have sort of grown out of the playing with dolls age? One wonders what the story is going to be; Barbie eats a/some burger(s) and then she lets Ken slip it in the backdoor?
