there was a game that blizzard would purplish before WC3 called lord of the clans - later own become a book - which was rpg game bout thrall becoming Warchife - the game tell the tale since he escaped the prison - all in game lore are non-canon, but you could see the way blizzard thought the lore would go, like that kilrogg and Kargath would join the Horde, that Deathwing is the brother of Alexstrasza, etc.
