You still have Fire Blast btw, if the Pyro fails to crit. And guess what, it's off GCD!!

And guess what, when the Pyro fails to crit you'll have lost your heating up and Fire Blast will do nothing.

So unless you have some magical way to foresee whether or not your Pyro will crit - so you can preemtively complete your Hot Streak with a Fireblast - my point still stands. So stick your passive aggressive answer where the sun won't shine.

With belt with decent latency you will just scorch scorch pyro scorch if pyro doesn't crit than fb pyro scorch and fb again if available, if not than just scorch scorch pyro again. Might be more smooth if you stay closer than 40y due latency but it's still better than before.

I have Ilvl 883, legendarys: neck and boots. 10% lower crit(just 54%) and 4% versa as other mages.
Played against a mage with bracer and head in lfr yesterday. He just had 872 and played not really good but his dps was nearly the same as mine.
We are currently progessing guarm mythic and you know what? As the best dps in my guild in hfc i am one of the worst now just because of the fact i have two shit legendarys and never get crit items. So i am benched with my dps.

Thank you blizzard for legendarys, thank you for the high amount of luck you need to get the right loot from m+ inis, thank you for the shit haste/mastery loot in the raids and nearly no bis item.

Legion would be nice without legendarys, without the chance of titanforged and with a better loottable in raids.

There are legitimate concerns about people overperforming because of legendaries, but what you are saying here makes no sense.

First, you don't know how to gear yourself if you are 883 with 54% crit. You don't fucking have a clue. And second, you don't get +100k over someone who plays worse than you with the bracers. Get over yourself, if you are being benched nowadays it is because you haven't adapted to fire on legion, no matter how good you were at wod.

This doesn't make sense. If Pyro doesn't crit, casting a Fireblast will only give you heating up, so you cannot follow that up with a Pyro ... I mean you can but...

You would already be starting and in the process of casting scorch before the pyro hits if you are following your ABC's, so you will have time to FB during that scorch cast before it completes. It's just a faster method what you do now with fireball, except you can do it from no procs instead of having to have a heating up.

This makes sense but the guy I quoted didn't include the Scorch cast and that way it makes no sense.

First of all: reported because you are flaming around like a little kid.
Second: i am an extremely good player, played 5 years in the world top 10 rankings so stop insulting me for things about me you don't know about. When i clear 100 m+ instances and never get bracer higher than ilvl 850 with crit and have 880 bracet with haste/mastery then the 880er are better. This is a problem i have with some slots. Boots and legs for example. I have no luck, no matter what i do. This is like playing in a casino. You can play so much and still never win.
My actuall guild is world top 500, 8/10 m down and guarm should die the next raids too. And we are just a 3x3h p/w raid. I have the oppertunity to raid in world top 20 guilds too but i don't wanna play so much.

Flaming ? Because i told you that you don't know how to gear yourself ? It's obvious you don't if you are trying to play fire with such crit because you want higher ilvl. If your rotation doesn't reach 60-61% you shouldn't be trying to get higher int except if it's something massive. Do you even know the weights of the stats ? Bracers actually give pretty low int, i have very high doubts that it would be an upgrade (for example, i have a 845 chest + socket equipped, and a 870 chest with no socket/crit sims lower for me, and it actually gives much more int than the bracers so your example is also pretty telling).

But you were complaining that the other player is worse than you (because you say so), he has lower ilvl than you (more likely to be because he is well itemized while you are not) while he is doing 100k more than you, and you justify entirely to the bracers, which is blatantly false and anyone who has enough in-game experience knows it's not true, hence why i called you out on it.

I am all against the crappy legendary/TF system, but your LFR example is actually so bad, that it goes in detriment to the discussion itself. And yes, the game is a casino and it sucks in that regard.

When i get an item with 40 Ilvl more and no crit then it is better. The only fact that matter is, that i can do easily legendary ranks with the most shitty gear and playing for the raid and not for ranks. I am a good player, what i said and what you can see, but when i am just unlucky like many other people with leg./titanforged-gear then it is a problem blizzard should fix because luck is part of the game, but it should never be such an important part.

Another fact is that the bracer will buff your dps so you make 50-80k more and the head will do the rest, so someone with them will do 100k more dmg as the same guy without. I never saw a person writing so wall of texts with so many hate and no clue about what he's actually talking about.

The lfr thing was just an example that happend some minutes before i wrote the comment. if you wanna see my ranks etc. click on the link on my signature. You can compare the dmg from out mages for example. And at this moment you shouldn't forget that i have not the same exp on the bosses because i had to work for a while in the progress.

I got bracers and ring the same week, and my parses were up 100k (Nythendra H), 170k (Ursoc H), and 200k (Xavius H) from the previous week.

I think based on my Sim DPS bracers themselves were about 55k, and the ring was roughly another 30k. Bracers are pretty RNG though, you can get a ton of procs, or no procs.

I hardly doubt it since you can switch spec with a simple click. But there are a lot of rumors out there. I even heard the rumor that the bad-luck protection is account-wide and therefore resets if you get a legendary while playing on a twink. :-) But in the end we'll never know since Blizzard will most likely never give us insight into their system.

You can always cast a Scorch when Pyro is flying.

If the Pyro doesn't crit, use Fire Blast.
