Why should they assimilate? Assimilation means giving up your customs, traditions, heritage, and more, for the sake of total adaption. Exactly why is that necessary? There is a perfect possibility that people can be totally different yet live perfectly in line with the rules of the society.

And yet the evidence more often than not states the contrary. I'm not against immigration but I'm against people coming over and not even trying to adapt because they wanna stick to their customs etc.. they could've stayed in their own country for that.

Highly educated immigrants have higher employment rates than native Swedes with high education... This isn't "my people treating them badly" it's most of them not being qualified for the jobs we have in a world where more and more jobs are becoming automated.

No, their lack of education has to do with their homecountries having shit education. Nothing to do with their heritage. Stop putting words in peoples mouths.

Because to even attend the Swedish school system they need to learn Swedish good enough to understand what they're studying. Many of those who have arrived in the past 10-20 years and who came here as low educated have not reached the sufficient skills in the Swedish language to even be able to attend such education.

I'm a Swede and guess why the bourgeois government decided in favor of flooding our borders with refugees the first time in the 90s? They wanted a huge influx of low educated people to flood the jobs market and destroy the unions and the socialism in favor of corporatism. Even if all these people did their part the system was in no way prepared to teach them all Swedish, house them, treat them in hospitals and to let all their children go to school. This has been admitted by former party members of right wing parties and is common knowledge for people who know where to look.
