Virtual reality expert arrested in Tukwila underage sex sting

SEATTLE – A leader in virtual reality technology was charged Friday for communicating with a minor for immoral purposes.

According to charging documents, Dov Katz responded to an ad posted by an undercover detective posing as a 15-year-old girl on a website offering sex in exchange for money. He suggested the two have sex without a condom for $360.

King County jail confirms that Katz was arrested and booked by Tukwila police officers on Wednesday. His arraignment is set for January 5, 2017.

Rather underhanded tactic utilised by the police tbh, where they exploit and encourage people to go further till they actually commit a crime... such as that case of Salvatore Culosi -- where an undercover cop posed as an eventual 'friend' whom managed to encourage Culosi to bid $2000, enough for the sting to go live which led to the accidental fire and death by a SWAT member.

I don't understand why he doesn't just go have sex with a 16 year old, physically/emotionally identical depending on the individual. Not sure if 16 is legal in his state, but at least in most of the world it is. Sex with a 15 year old hardly makes him a pedo either, not in the correct use of the term and in many countries would be completely legal. Some 15 year old girls can easily pass off as being in their early 20s, and some girls in their early 20s can still pass off as 15.

Think the point I'm making is the guy is a bit of a creep and should pay for his actions of breaking the law, but in many parts of the world what he is doing is legal and any straight male can be fooled, many girls at 15 are physically fully grown women.
