I had some awesome songs that I was going to link but I accidentally lost them and can't remember them

This was one (love this song)

I think it was Chrysia or someone else linked this to me years ago

    Amaranthe is a great band.

    Also, Korpiklaani ftw:

I think I listened to this full mix one night and found it to be good for studying:

I've not listened to Korpiklaani or Grave Digger in a very long time!

That was pretty good. Lead singer reminds me of a song I listened to years ago (You were probably the one that linked it) that was also by a Russian band.

Basically any song that ends on SXMOctane is something I will fall in love with.

This song was terrible, but hilarious because of the random screaming juxtaposed with calm singing (first example happens 20 seconds or so in): [video=youtube;tGsRTGMMonE]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGsRTGMMonE[/vdeo]

This song on the other hand, was really good, I liked it a lot:

You may have ruined Chop Suey for me. I hope you're happy. She has a good voice, but she doesn't embody what SOAD emphasize in the song imo.

It's mostly the male lead that ruins it for me, but it's overall terrible. Dear god why...

Did I miss all the metal?

Saw Pop Evil - Trenches in there. Will you hate me if I say that's the only Pop Evil song I can stand?

I probably did link Alestorm in here, though it was introduced to me in the Pony Thread, so it might have been Fallen as well.

I do kinda lean towards the Halestorm/Disturbed/Godsmack alt metal type of metal.

Noombah, before we get warned for derailing the thread.

I know Halestorm isn't everyone's cup of tea, but she's got a killer voice and is hot as fucking hell.

Nope. I like other songs of theirs but I understand why people wouldn't.

Do you happen to remember the song? It had a male and female singer, it wasn't very heavy (still good), and the female singer had thing black dreads IIRC

Fallen, we both linked Maria Brink at the same time.

Seems to be a lot of post-production on her voice. Her voice sounds like it'd be nice without it, but makes it harder to judge. Still like it.

Bluesy Rock that I've found recently, not to try to derail from the rock theme, but just 'cuz.

pop evil is definitely one of those like or not bands.

Isn't the original version of "Close My Eyes Forever" Draiman and Lzzy Hale?

EDIT: Oh, no, it was an Ozzy song. Somehow I was unaware it was a cover, and I fucking love Ozzy.

Don't thin you're derailing. Very much a rock/blues rock imo. Very melodical.

It feels kinda weird to distinguish between bluesy rock and metal, since early metal was essentially a blues/early rock fusion.

Good band and good song. I still find it hilarious that Taylor Momsen was Cindy Lou Who.
