Although the changes to shielding are a very close second.

This conquests setup is so fucking easy. Doing the Thrill and Avarice if i cannot spawn Curses fast.

Applied the patch... Honestly dont notice any difference in graphics.

Of course that could be because I spent the majority of my time doing the Darkening of Tristram XD.

Staying off D3 now until Season 9 starts.

Ha. Well, i did check and set everything up to max and i must say everything looks more crips, fluid, and generally sensibly better than before. Anyway it seems that grouping up affects performance really bad for someone. I don't have enough info to identify if there's a real issue, but to me it sounds more like "i have a half-bad pc and try to run everything at max and it lags".

As for the event: run it last night with my lvl1 wizard so i could get the pet. I will run it again to clear all achievements (miss one side zone, the cultist stuff and uniques) but i think i'll be done before S9 start for sure.

Same (but with a barb), cleared everything except the Uniques and Cult stuff. I'll probably save those last ones and run it on my WD once the season starts.

The dungeon itself isn't that worth to use, even for leveling. Standard rifting is still faster, basically because density in the event dungeon isn't good at all.

Yeah, but anything to break up rifting is good imo :P

I don't think I'l be leveling in it, just doing a deep dive or two to get the last rares. I just CBA to farm it now, on a char that will be ignored from here on out...

Thinking of going with Whirlwind (Wastes) Barbarian or Slow Time (Delsere) Wizard, any ideas if either of them are any good now? I'm not really interested in leaderboards, mostly just getting Season chapters done.

I'm going to be playing with my brother who is going for Generator (Thousand Storms) Monk.

For season chapters, basically any build will work good. Some will require more farming, others will have stuff readily available. You'll be fine with either of the two.

This is the one I used, it's maybe a touch outdated now but the build holds up.

as a general rule, Quin69's buids are always pretty solid, even if he is a monumental tool. Anything by him or AngryRoleplayer you know will be playable.

Yeah, spent all of season 8 trying to get a good Endless Walk for my thornsader...

Lets hope my current Helltooth WD has better luck.

Delsere's is a fun build thought, especially with that setup, the AoE is REDONK.

Sadly the new client runs like utter shit when there's tornados and if you're in a group you're forced to run the 32bit client, it's absolute trash tier in terms of performance, drops to 20 fps when fighting Kulle or other guardians with tornado like abilities. That's on a 1080 and 4690k @ 4.4Ghz
